Can anyone tell me where to find info about DVD 'proof of purchase' tabs. Are they mostly for promotional purposes, or can they be 'redeemed' for discounts, free stuff, etc...

"Burn After Reading," the last Coen Brothers movie? I saw it in the theater and I've watched it at home a couple times on DVD, but HEY! just watched it again.

Ya know, the whole point is, it's like one of the most hardcore rants on the gov-er-mint, especially the spooks of the CIA et al, EVER.

Not only does the whole thing actually pivot on the interluded conversations between the asshole CIA chief and his deputy, which is about the most moronic part of the whole wacko movie, but the music over the end titles is nothing other than "CIA Man," sung by Tuli Kupferberg of the FUGS, performed by the FUGS!

Now you don't get many movies referencing the goddam Fugs, but if you do, I'd say the entire point is to point a big finger-o-fate right up the wazoo of the whole shiat-stem. Bigtime.

I mean,like the Coens are hilarious, and I think The Big Lebowski is a work of genius, but this is like SO way over the edge!

Does anyone know where I could find information about how much public performance licenses for movies might run? I'm more interested in older movies (i.e. Citizen Kane) and foreign films rather than new Hollywood blockbusters (i.e. Avatar).

Is it a flat-fee payment schedule or percentage of ticket sales?
