Well, apparently this thread only keeps the last month archived, but according to this, it's been going since February. So, going by my brilliant, flawless logic, that like totally proves I was here first. Yup. Totally.

Not sure, but this season ended with Whiny Skinny Chick, Token Black Dude, and Aussie Brown-Noser all either quitting or getting fired. Actually, I like their characters, but I get the feeling that House may be one of those shows that burns brightly for a few years, then jumps the shark very suddenly. This may the writers' attempt to preemptively stoke the fires. As for the actors, I haven't heard any rumors, but Omar Epps could probably get a series of his own if he wanted it.

Not at all. I referred to Dr. Chase as a "brown-noser" to distinguish him from the typical Aussie; that is, a drunken, sheep molesting hick descended from British convicts.

I finally just saw the last episode, and dropped back in here to say: Now I understand what you were talking about! Thanks for the heads up!

Agree about the show in general; it's gotten quite a rep for predictability and pretty much used up its shock value. (How many testicles can you explode or eyeballs can you pop before it's just a yawn, after all?)

I also agree about Epps; strong character, good delivery, but he doesn't seem to have much in development right now.

I thoroughly enjoy Hugh Laurie's work - he's long shown he's got comedy well-covered, and this brought his dramatic capabilities to the attention of a lot of American households. As good as the show has been been for him, I can't help but think he might find it a pleasant break to get that stone out of his shoe and talk in his "real voice" if only as successful a vehicle could be found for him.

House M.D. stole the ratings for Fox, apparently, with their finale, so perhaps another season can be wrung out. It'll be interesting to see where they take it.

Yeah, Hugh Laurie is amazing, almost chameleonic. Hard to believe that Dr.Gregory House, Mr. Frederick Little, and Lt. the Honorable George Colhurst St. Barleigh are all the same guy.

Well, not very much alike, but there are some similarities. Mind you, I'm talking about the original Lapti Nek (pops) song in RotJ, not the "Jedi Rocks" version in the re-release. And not the thin little synth melody at the start of Funkytown (pops), but the fuller disco beat beginning at about one minute in.
