judan: It was from an issue right around the time the French economy collapsed. Did you know 116% of single mothers are on welfare?

I loved the "besmirched" reputation comment.

It's a well known fact that Bill won the Nobel Prize in Honesty from Jesus himself in 1996.

Didn't Sunny Ray used to be a right wing troll?

I have no doubt in my mind that those comments appeared at one time on Free Republic. The moderators regularly delete even semi-inappropriate comments. It is no haven for free speech. Hell, they banned 1/4 the user base for just supporting Giuliani. On Fark and Kos anyone can comment without fear of being banned for their ideas. (Behavior is another thing.)

A sitcom about islam?
Sounds stupid: jokes about jokes are never funny

I do not want to be channel surfing and click though an al-Qaeda sitcom. At the very least, some of the money generated from the show will be channeled back to fund terrorists and jihadis. When I write my check to the cable company each month, I would like to know that not one cent is ever delivered back in support of the muzzies.

"Since 9/11 what we see on the news nearly every day portrays Muslims in terms of conflict," said Nawaz...

Ummmm more like since the 1970's when you started hijacking planes, bombing civilians, and causing general mayhem wherever you congregate...a$$hat.

There is absolutely nothing funny about the muslim monsters.
They are about as funny as cancer.

Right now I wouldn't be surprised if the ACLU would come up with a lawsuit closing all churches (they are after all surrounded by public streets). Of course tattooing numbers on Christian's arms won't be far behind. There's an original idea; last accomplished by Adolph Hitler.

Frankly, atheists writing about religion are tiresome. It's like a blind man writing about painting, or a deaf man writing about music. They haven't the foggiest notion what they're talking about. Who wants to read a long rant by people who don't know what they're talking about?

Can someone cite an example of a nontheist who is NOT an atheist?
They're just shades of the same turd.

I will be praying for these authors. Just because they want to deny the power and existence of God doesn't mean he doesn't exist or he isn't sovereign. I deny the number on the weight scale, doesn't mean it isn't telling me the truth.

Our nation was founded on religious tolerance. The Left believes in pure intolerance.

Maybe it does have a basis. Evolution is religion.

There is truly nothing new under the sun- these atheist liberal dolts think they're being novel in their approach to villify Christianity? Here's a wake-up call God-Deniers- you've failed for centuries and will continue to fail right up until the point the Christ returns to paint the streets with your spilled blood. http://sacredscoop.com

At least the God hatersAt least the God haters are outing themselves. Better to know what the enemies of God are up to.

If not for murder and perversion, the liberals wouldn't hold congress.

Man, it's been over two weeks since his passing...and foaming-at-the-mouth Lefty loons are still hatin' on Rev. Falwell!
God's Word, and anyone who preaches it, is inveterately offensive to Lib hedonists.

I will bet that more black people go to Jerry Falwell's church than go to the church of the writer here if the writer even goes to church.

The theory of evolution is for the simple, the self-aggrandized, the God-haters, and the egoists. It is not valid, and certainly not as strongly supported with real scientific evidence as the God of Bible as Creator theory.

Today we are worried about the ACLU's war on religion in the public places, but once they acheive their goal does anyone think they will stop until they eliminate religion in private? These depraved monsters are the same God-haters who crucified the Lord.

No scientist would ever use such an ignorant term as "human evolution."
Evolution is not science, it is the ignorant religion of the God haters. Objective science proves that creation is undeniable fact.

They are following their abberant religious beliefs; they are not scientists, since science must be objective, not dogmatic and selective as those who now call themselves biologists are.
Calling something science does not make it science (perhaps 'orwellian science')

These depraved monsters are the same God-haters who crucified the Lord.
Agreed.

One thing is for dead certain: [the ACLU] are fanatics and like all Jihadists of whatever stripe they cannot be reasoned with, they cannot be compromised with and they cannot be appeased. There is only one thing lefties respect and it ain't turning the other cheek.

The ACLU is not an abstract entity. It is names and faces.
Every prominent member of the ACLU should be a household name instantly recognizable by all.
Everyone should get to know their names and faces more intimately.
Names and faces.

If Bush get's re-elected and it happens to be by the landslide which I'm predicting, the dems will be out of power for about 40-50 years. That should give us time to rectify some of their major messes .. primarily replacing judges with those who follow the Constitution and not the democrat party.

The host, Bill O'Reilly, falsely accused FreeRepublic.com of having the following comments on its site: "Homosexuals are dogs," "I hate blacks," "Hillary Clinton should be assassinated," and "A stray bullet should kill her."

...

Let me assure you that, contrary to how the O'Reilly Factor portrayed FreeRepublic.com to you and the viewing public, FreeRepublic.com is not a site where people feel comfortable posting a comment such as "I hate blacks."

I guess the other three comments were ok?

Funny that the one they objected to is arguably the least offensive; it's just a personal statement of their own feelings. The other ones either insult/stereotype a group or call for violence.

No, actually O'Reilly is quite possibly one of the few pundits making aware of just how dangerous, naive and iconoclastic the liberal mindset actually is. We are in danger of our traditions and cultures being marginalized, our foreign policy is being challenged in time of war, and this year half a dozen social programs left over from the Clinton era will bankrupt their budgets.

It's even more important that the Republican Party remain in control of this government, as the liberals would see to it that eight years of policy would be spitefully unplugged and replaced with a token gesture which would ultimately help our enemies to strike. This is what O'Reilly is reminding us of, that there are competent people who run the world, and bumbling, childish ideologues doing their best to fail to see the big picture, all while pulling the rug out from under this country.

Just keep in mind that our enemies want us to hate the President, they want us to elect an ineffective figurehead leader who will appease them and do whatever he can to make their next strike against America more comfortable for them.

This is why the Democrats will not earn the White House, they are too wrapped up in their narcissistic utopian fantasies--they're too busy being in love with the sound of their own voices to formulate a real plan to deal with Terror.

Free Republic has been rallying in support of our President and the war effort since shortly after the terrorist attack on America on September 11, 2001. Later, as the inevitable war against Iraq drew closer, more and more of the "useful idiots" of the left began crawling out of the woodwork organizing so-called "anti-war" protests. FReepers are working to ensure that these communist organized (See: INTERNATIONAL A.N.S.W.E.R.) demonstrations do not go unanswered. FernJohnW: You know... much as it sickens me, I'm supporting O'Reilly on this matter. The simple fact is that half the users of FreeRepublic give off vibes and ramblings that would put them in league with most neo-Nazis. Anytime I make an attempt at reading their forums, I'm witness to lunacy ranging from disappointment that homosexuality is no longer a capital offense, to claims that Africa's crisis of AIDS is a "myth," to calls for forced conversion to Christianity, to the extermination of Muslims, to... well, you get the idea.

"Rules" or not, nutball bigotry is almost always accepted and sometimes openly encouraged.

Then those are the things he should have said and backed them up. What this proves is Orly does not do any research himself and who ever does it, does not do a good job.

No, actually Free Republic allows for information covered up or buried under the load of liberal political correctness. You really should go there sometime. Issues that are shouted down or ignored because they expose liberal hypocrisy are discussed there without the childish attention-whoring seen in a typical Fark thread.

And childish pranks like your irreverent sarcasm are not allowed at Free Republic, no, they know how to act like adults over there, no "snarking," no blanket sucking, no whining about what's unfair with this world.

In other words, the men visit Free Republic, the boys camp out here and mess the place with their immature locker room humor.

And what's more, O'Reilly's philosophies will be eventually integrated into a future Republican administration, starting with this next round in 2009. By 2016, the thorn in this country's side known as liberalism will be a footnote in history, a quaint museum piece like the hippie "movement" or the Roaring 20s pre-Prohibition.
