I need to find my own planet because I'll never understand how there's SIX HOURS of film with nothing but Chris Tucker's farking voice and Jackie Chan's terrible acting. Let alone how it's made millions. X(

I normally don't worry myself much with other people's taste in movies, but if you went to see this and aren't under the age of 14, you shouldn't be allowed to vote or serve on a jury.

I am a man who loves over the top action, stupid comedy, car chases, martial arts in movies, hot women, big explosions and everything that comes with a movie like this. I enjoy most every big budget or known movie out there, I am the anti movie snob that watches everything... yet I have no farking desire to see this movie.
for whatever that's worth.

Absolutely nothing.

Ditto.

I also agree with subby. The public most definitely deserves a break from Chris Tucker, at least. Maybe, now, we've finally stuffed enough money down his throat to shut him up?

It's funny when you talk just to see your alias on a screen. You dug the first two of these, didn't you?

Just more proof that any crap movie can be #1 over the weekend.

First one was funny. Funny enough to watch whenever it's on TBS and still get a laugh.

Second one, funny, catch it every now and then, but I can skip it if there is anything else on.

Third, I'll see it on DVD, get a laugh, enjoy myself.

It's about the same level of comedy as the three stooges. Slapstick, yelling, language gags.

Don't go and see it. You'll hate it. I thought it was throughly enjoyable, but if you thought Willow was terrible, or you thought the Princess Bride sucked, then this isn't the movie for you. If you somehow managed to hate Willow and enjoy Princess Bride, well, then, you dumb AND ugly.

I was thinking more along the lines of this generation's Princess Bride.

I didn't think much of the previews either... the few times I actually saw them. I didn't see where they advertised Stardust worth a damn...

I hope this isn't coming from the same people that think 300 is a good movie.

I like to watch good movies and martial arts movies, but martial arts movies don't have to be good; they just have to provide lots of ass kicking and stunts.

I've seen probably every Jackie Chan movie there is, including a godawful one I found for 1.99 in a bargain bin. I'm sure I'll see Rush Hour 3 at some point.

Oh yea, and I'm definitely going to vote so suck it.

ToddMU03

Is our country really that stupid? I think I need to move.

Try Luxembourg, they have the world's highest per capita GDP.

Come on, Val Kilmer with a sword. It was fun, un-complicated and had good effects. A hell of a lot better then any of the Fast and Furious movies.

Your Bio Born in a little log hospital in the verdant jungles of eastern Nebraska, comes a pale, drunken, creature of the night. Marvel at his ability to play PC games for hours on end. Be amazed as he endlessly searches the web for free pornography. Wonder at his ability to consume heroic amounts of alcohol. Be bored to tears by his endless supply of Simpsons quotes. Ponder how he manages to stay happily married.

Maybe it is just me, but I don't think you should be judging anyones intelligence anytime soon.

Isn't that what Fark is all about? When was the last time you saw rational, thoughtful and respectful discourse?

...

Exactly.

Its a bunch of jerks flaming each and posting Simpsons quotes to amuse themselves and one another.

/And yes, both Rush Hours amused me. I'll catch this one on USA or TBS in a few years.

talon_9333: I saw it and liked it. It was the typical dirty jokes and martial arts type movie. I wasn't expecting oscar performances.

Anything is better than DeNiro trying to play a pirate. Sorry, I won't even give that movie a look.

You don't want to see Robert DeNero play a tranvestite pirate?

I'll agree about Stardust, I really liked it. It's not a perfect movie, I think mostly because of the adaptation and budget parameters, but if you like a good magical romance I'd highly recommend, it's good fun.

I would definitely recommend reading the book though.

I've read American Gods and Neverwhere (along with a smattering of Sandman comics) but I haven't read Stardust yet. From talking about it with my wife, it seems to me that most of the changes that were made were the sort of changes that are necessary to turn a book into something that is watchable and comes in under three hours. I know that she was irritated at a few changes, but even she had to admit that they were reasonable.

Zhang Ziyi was in it too.

What? Not even two is enough?
