Man I love mustard. I think I'll put a little extra on my burger during lunch just in honor of the day.

Raw_fishFood: Mustard sucks.

If you say so. I'd say that ketchup sucks myself.

Also, yellow mustard is all I like. None of that crappy brown mustard.

Mustard is evil. It is the root cause of all things that are evil. It is pure evil in liquid form and it infects all things near it with its evilness.

Evil.

/The 9-11 bombers ate mustard before the attacks.
//The Nazis did too.

Mmmm. Mustard, I've got a jar in the fridge that came straight from the tap in Dijon, France.

Seriously, they have mustard on tap (new window)

I love mustard.
Yellow mustard on hamburgers and hot dogs with beer.
Brown mustard, sour kraut, Swiss cheese, and polish sausage on rye with beer.
Hot mustard with on summer sausage with Amish cheese and beer.
Bratwurst and onions with any mustard and beer.
Fries bologna with mustard on toast with beer.
Mustard greens, cooked down until tender, and beer.
I think I may be seeing a trend here.
Yup, I love mustard.

2007-08-05 09:55:04 AM
oops, that was fried bologna not fries.

Jesus, I can't believe I'm confessing this:

As a little Fluff, I liked fried eggs with runny yolks. But I LOVED them chopped up, with mustard on top. And a biscuit.

And no, not any more I don't. I don't even eat eggs.

When : First Saturday in August

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it Sunday now? ;)

I loves me some mustards, ketchup doesn't even compare to it, but straight real mayo is the best condiment ever.

French's yellow and onions on a hot dog.
No ketchup shall ever touch my dogs.

Mustard is good.

Horseradish is good.

(Mustard + horseradish) * deli style hot dog = very very good.

2007-08-05 12:17:08 PM
The only time I use mustard is while making deviled eggs. Get some sort of spicy mustard and use wasabi horseradish instead of mayo. Delicious.

/Can someone put a Burger King crown on mustard man?
//Would be so worth it.

Use condiments for safe food.

2007-08-05 12:19:19 PM
uhh..excuse me. Mayo is the king of condiments. end of discussion.

Damn mustard. I lost a pair of shorts last weekend to mustard. Just couldn't get the stain off. Poor little guys. *weep*

Jalapeno mustard is interesting as well. Too lazy to post pic.

Wow. Did it really take 7 posts for mustard guy?

Satchel_Brown: uhh..excuse me. Mayo is the king of condiments. end of discussion.

If by "king of condiments" you mean, "A good way to be fat like the average American fatass," then I agree.

2007-08-05 12:21:30 PM
*sigh*

This brings back memories. We threw a pretty kick-butt mustard party last year for National Mustard Day.

The old invite is here (pops): Must Have Mustard

2007-08-05 12:22:43 PM
Oooooooohhhhhhh,

Mustard's a jolly good fellow
Creamy and tangy and yellow
Delicious tangy yellow fellooooooooowwwwwwwwwwww
and ketchup is his biatch.

Chaos Theory: normal yellow kind and the horseradish kind taste like concentrated evil

While I disagree with the horseradish assessment, I'll have to say that you are dead on about the plain yellow mustard. I love mustards of all kinds except plain yellow. That stuff is crap. I'd drench a hot dog in all kinds of ketchup before I'd even think of ruining it with yellow mustard.

That Pale Ale mustard I posted above is my current favorite. Good stuff.

2007-08-05 12:25:11 PM
Nothing wrong with mustard. I'm not obsessed with it, but it's good to have around.

Mayo, on the other hand, is the semen of the devil.

This. (American) mayonnaise sucks.

/Canadian mayonnaise, too
//Every red-blooded American knows that the only condiment that you are ever supposed to put on a hamburger is KETCHUP! Or MAYBE some of that SPECIAL SAUCE you like so much here in Canada; which I think has a little bit of mayonnaise in it too! But I swear to God when they start slapping that mayonnaise on there I could kill somebody.

Do you put a lot of mayo on your hot dog?

Then again I like peanut-butter & mayo sandwiches so what the hell do I know?

2007-08-05 12:26:29 PM
Eh.. not a big fan of must-tard.

But Honey Mustard has it's purposes.

2007-08-05 12:28:11 PM
Unright: But Honey Mustard has it's purposes.

Can it be used to eradicate superfluous apostrophes?

Honey mustard is the retarded little sister of mustard. It's what Americans eat because apparently we can't deal with ACTUAL mustard.
