A fund-raising e-mail letter signed by Ann Lewis, a senior Clinton adviser, urges potential donors to "take a stand against this kind of coarseness and pettiness in American culture."

Kind of like Clinton's coarse and petty rhetoric against the videogame industry when she blames it for all of the problems with America's youth?

"Frankly, focusing on women's bodies instead of their ideas is insulting. It's insulting to every woman who has ever tried to be taken seriously in a business meeting. It's insulting to our daughters -- and our sons -- who are constantly pressured by the media to grow up too fast," Lewis said.

QFT. It's not like she was in a farking halter top and go-go boots. Should she have been wearing a chador instead?

We rarely agree, but you've just nailed the reason why I won't vote for her.

We wouldn't have this problem if she was wearing a burkha like she's supposed to.

Hypocrisy! Remember all the liberals discussing Margaret Thatcher's cleavage?

I'll go pluck out my mind's eye now.

TFA "Frankly, focusing on women's bodies instead of their ideas is insulting...

Well, it's not like Hillary actually has any ideas of her own; her campaign is just watered down Eurosocialism, so people might as well focus on her cleavage.

So let me get this straight: We are supposed to give Hilary Clinton money because someone is writing about her cleavage? My head hurts.

2007-07-30 02:12:04 PM
It's only a matter of time before she stops wearing panties.

People, it's an article by Robin f*cking Givhan. I don't think Hillary, or anybody, should even dignify it with a response. Givhan is a fashion reporter who has delusions of being a political commentator. She is the most useless, mindless twat ever to snag column space in the WaPo. (Though to be fair, they keep her in the "Style" section along with the comics and Dear Abby columns.)

/Naturally, the bimbo won a Pulitzer prize for writing her fashionista shiat

Man up, Nancy. Europe can have female leaders because they don't get all bent out of shape when someone comments on their tits, or Photoshops them Breastfeeding world leaders (NSFW, pops)

So, again, man up and stop acting like a scrotally-challenged, estrogen-laden non-male.

Game and set.

Personally, I think "course and petty rhetoric" refers to this inexplicable need for a scapegoat in politics. Look, turrists video games! BOGEYMAN!! ...And remember to support me with votes because I think of the children!

What a bunch of shiat. I'd rather have Gravel in office than Clinton.

I personally am open to the idea of a president. We could save 11% annually on her salary.

Hillary chose to show her body parts to remind us that she is a female.

It is valid to comment on Hillarys response (dressing to impress) to Mrs. Edwards claim that she is not as outspoken about womens issues as Mr. Edwards.

Hill was trying to show that she is a women. A strong woman.

Thank you, clanque. You've farking ruined Wonder Woman for me.

Incidentally, I just don't get the "rules" of cleavage. If you wear something to show off a part of you, don't you want attention and compliments? Why is something so simple as "Nice jugs" or "I have to say, your breasts are just smashing today!" considered offensive? They're out there! You put them out there.

I can only speak for myself, but if a lady compliments my package, I'm gonna thank them. Makes me feel good about myself.

/Likes Brian Posehn's answer to cleavage and other similar fashion/anatomical occurances
//Likes to share the turkey neck with the ladies. Little of the ol' neck.

So let me get this straight:

Clinton wears a nice blouse on the Senate floor. She is immediately criticized for having boobs, because you know, that's such a sin. Off with her head!

Obama goes shirtless. Fans pen songs for him and post them on YouTube. He becomes an instant sex symbol.

Hmm.
