I don't know. I feel bad for Paris because rejection sucks when it comes from the family.

I can relate because when my father died he didn't leave me a single thing, not even a photograph. All I got was some books that neither my stepmother or brother wanted and now I'm wondering whether I should have taken them at all, and some photos of myself (and him I guess if he was in the picture) that I had to ask my stepmother for.

So yeah, I'm still insulted. Now, this is Paris's grandfather so it's not as bad because the grandparent is supposed to leave to their children, unless the children are really old in which case I guess grandchildren is better. Still, it is something she had before, and was taken away. I wasn't privy to private conversations, I would hope that her grandfather had a private chat with her beforehand to warn her that this thing was a possibility. If this is out of the blue, he's just as much of an asshole as my father was.
