The Los Angeles Times researched a couple of millions of cirmes in LA, they found about 1500 that had similar circumstances to Paris Hilton's, the dui, dui while suspended, etc. She served more time that 80% of those that had similar cases. The Judge was harder on her because she was the rich and famous Paris Hilton. It is quite clear. So, there.

If she had shown (and SINCERELY shown) deference, humility, and full acceptance of responsibility, I'm sure she would have gotten a lighter, more forgiving sentence.
