Paris and her family o' greed will contest the will once Gramps kicks...just like Gramps did to get the cash in the first place. The original Conrad had the right idea, which Barron screwed up.

I see two groups of people being made very happy by this decision - farkers and lawyers.

davidcwaller:

i think that the funniest thing about this is the insult. Grandpa basically saying "you are a disgraceful whore"

Grandpa let his son (Richard Hilton) marry Kathy, the wannabee Jan Brady who was bred to be a child star and marry rich.

He should have put his foot down. That got the ball rolling. Paris is simply the product.

No, it doesn't ?! At least not in my brand of Buddhism...

A person constantly gathers good and bad impressions by doing good or bad things.
And when these impressions are ready to "hatch", so to speak, they will.
Some will result in Karma in this life, others will take effect in the next one, or the one after that.

Paris never had this money in the first place. She's gotten to where she is without it. Sure, she won't have that golden pillow to land on eventually, but she seems to be doing well off Dad's money, or whatever she's built on her own.

And believe it or not, she works and earns her own money. Before the DWI she was being paid tens of thousands just to show up at certain clubs in LA and Vegas.

I just don't get who thinks she's worth it, and who would want the Paris Hilton jeans or cologne, or hamburgers.

I'm not sure if the "Hero" tag is appropriate in this case.

If grandpa had shot the biatch in the face with a big caliber gun a couple of times, or if he'd taken an axe to her vacuous cranium -- then yeah, sure: hero, no doubt. But this is just too little, too late.

When Conrad Hilton died in 1979, he left nothing in his will to his children or other descendants. Barron Hilton contested this decision and prevailed in court in 1988. The value of Paris's inheritance has been variously estimated at between $30 and $50 million.

So what makes you all think that when Barron Hilton dies, Paris and her clan won't do the same thing Barron did and contest to get the money? It is after all, the family way.

It sounds like the old man is senile and has probably lost touch with what it is like to be young and free. I would like to know what he was up to when he was Paris's age. Anway, like many others have stated, Paris has earned millions on her own and will be fine without Grandpa's money, as will the foundation he has set up. If her family members are upset with her, especially the ones that have never worked hard like Paris and her sister, Niki, well it is their own damn fault and they are the ones that should be pointed and laughed at.

Dear Sir,

As much as I applaud your recent decision to cut Paris out of your will, I have to wonder whether, at the point of your passing, the family will simply spend years and millions of dollars contesting the will in court. I think this is most likely inevitable.

Therefore, if I may, I would like to make a suggestion.

Spend it. Every penny. For help on how, see "Brewster's Millions" starring Richard Pryor.

Enjoy, you have truly earned it. While she, clearly, has earned nothing but a fiesty khitbash.

Yours truly,

TSP

Well I don't know about media coverage back in the day when Grandpa was, maybe, sowing his wild oats. What I don't get about the Paris haters is why do you blame her for the media attention? Obviously there is a healthy market for tracking her expolits, who is playing who in this scenario?
