But, I'm asking about "the other side." You made an assertion/argument - that meeting or negotiating with these dictators would legitimize them. Others in the thread responded by pointing out that the US has, in the past, met and negotiated with plenty of dictators, some far worse than the people mentioned in this article/headline. Their argument, by analogy, is: why was it OK to meet with those dictators, and not OK to meet with these dictators?

I am asking to hear your response, because I am interested in your argument.

Don't refuse to make your argument and then say things like "have fun with your one-sided arguments." Instead, make the arguments two-sided - make your arguments...

Flash....jeez....people in this thread questioned your argument. They asked you why it was OK to talk to some dictators, but not OK to talk to others. They asked you to clarify and defend your arguments. You did not do so.

Flash, you really need to either think a little harder before you make an argument, and actually qualify it. If you believe something, you should have some reason for believing it, and you should be able to explain that reason. Aside from some flames, most people just wanted you to give a reason for your belief, and you never did. Instead, you had a tantrum.
