I'm guessing the film studio has been watching how she's been embarrassing herself lately, and don't want to be associated with it. Celebrities with drug abuse problems are unreliable, impossible to work with, and the studio doesn't want to waste its money on her when they have people lined up around the block waiting for a chance to show their stuff.

She could dance her ass off. I think she even choreographed the "Velcro Fly" dance for ZZ Top. Unfortunately it didn't look much better than the "Hot for Teacher" dance.... :)
