Maybe they didn't know. My mom KNEW I was doing drugs when I was younger but IMO she had NO IDEA what was really up as far as my side ventures. Maybe she did know, although she sure didn't say a thing.

"It was all drug money," Farmington Hills police Chief William Dwyer said Thursday. "It was not money he saved up working a part-time job. That's a lot of money for someone that age to have."

Way to discourage kids of selling drugs. "yeah, you can make waaaaay more then a part time job".

God bless this kid...

In these dark days of terrorist threats and a poor economy, it's refreshing to see that a young person can possess the true American Entrepenurial Spirit.

Racking my brain trying to figure out how many lids I'd would have had to sell to make $12k.

I'm a little rusty, what is a lid going for these days?

2002-09-09 12:27:21 PM
Does he have the same parents as Matt Damon?

2002-09-09 12:27:42 PM
You know his dad was scoring some cheap rates, or else he'd whoop that ass.

2002-09-09 12:28:22 PM
21 pounds a week my ass!!! A kid that young wouldn't even come close to having the resources to move that much.

2002-09-09 12:28:22 PM
Give me a call Livewire, I'll hook ya up

I majored in Parking Lot in high school. Graduated with high honors.

It was all working out ok until one day I came home straight and my parents asked me, "What's wrong with your eyes???"

2002-09-09 12:31:06 PM
He's obviously working for Osama.

2002-09-09 12:32:13 PM
Lets see...local dime bags go for $35, bought 5 oz a bag...

12000/35 = 342 * 5 = 1710/16 = ~100 lbs of goodness

Packed tight you could put that much under a couch...I could see him getting away with that.

Sweet Jesus. Some parents must have taken parenting skills lessons from Colonel Klink and Sgt. Schultz.

Or to work in our pirate vocabulary: Harrrrr matey, need to keep an eye on those wee scallawags.

2002-09-09 12:32:31 PM
Prosecutors also are attempting to forfeit the money that was confiscated.

What, the prosecutors don't want the money any more? Who are they attempting to forfeit it to? I'll take it!

No dumbass like a reporter dumbass.

2002-09-09 12:32:40 PM
Well, my parents never knew about the collection of severed human heads I kept under the bed, so it seems reasonable to me.

Of course, it may have just been a matter of not wanting to know what the screams of horror that went on for weeks coming from my bedroom were. Parents are funny that way, they can convince themselves of pretty much anything they want to.

2002-09-09 12:34:09 PM
Well I hope that they fry this terrorist in tha chair for selling such a "harmful" drug to make everyone stupid and complacent so we're attacked again! WAH!

Damn part 1: That's a lot of hippie lettuce

Damn part 2: That's not far from me.

Love the fact he was moving large amounts of dope, but still kept a plant in the attic in case his source dried up.

What? When I was a kid, dime bags were $10. I'm so glad that I don't smoke pot anymore.

Crack is much more economically sound.

2002-09-09 12:35:59 PM
Anyone else catch the fact that he's was 15 and in Eighth Grade? So maybe he's not the whizkid they are portraying him as.

2002-09-09 12:36:13 PM
Christ some of you guys pay a lot for weed. Assuming this kid didn't have hydro, the amount he had (150 grams, wasn't it) could be bought for $200 here.

2002-09-09 12:36:21 PM
Whoa!! That's a lot of cash. Hey, kid, want me to launder some of it for you?

2002-09-09 12:36:28 PM
I'd hand down the worst punishment possible: Assign him to MY parents. The same ones that smelled tobacco on my shirt from smoke from a cigarette enjoyed by someone else at a party I was at hours prior. Dude would never enjoy life again.

2002-09-09 12:36:35 PM
This kid kept it on the d/l. Hey, why attract attention? Although, he might've been spiking the drinks/food with a little extra spice.

$12K and he didn't go get exerything platnium? The chains, the rims, the bling-bling nor did he go flex the cheddar? Definite hero. He needs his own infomercial 'How to be a Good Dealer'. Sorry, can someone think of a better title? I feel the need to go listen to 'Because I Got High'.
Snooch to the Nooch.

Gulliver:

as all working out ok until one day I came home straight and my parents asked me, "What's wrong with your eyes???"

"My contacts are bugging me."
"They were showing Old Yeller at school again... I wept."
"It's that damn ragweed... I mean RAG-Weed... yeah. Ragweed."

Outlawtsar - Holy scheetz! Around here $35 gets you about 1/4 of an ounce.

2002-09-09 12:40:13 PM
Yeah. Outlawtsar is getting ripped!

2002-09-09 12:40:13 PM
I've gotta say, I hate the current drug purchasing plans. What's a "dime bag," anyway? I can't imagine not buying by weight. a dime bag is what, $10 worth, right? Only they go for $35? WTF? Give me mine by wieght. 1/4 oz of commercial for $45 or so, 1/2 oz for $75, 1 oz for $130. And let me see your scales if I don't know you already.

2002-09-09 12:40:13 PM
Man, he's gonna get sentence to a federal pound me in the ass prison.. I can just tell.. all over weed..

2002-09-09 12:41:32 PM
Flange!, yah, I saw that. I guess maybe he had other things to do than concentrate on schoolwork. =)

2002-09-09 12:42:32 PM
Wtf? goddamn double post. mods, please correct it if you feel energetic and stuff.. I dont like looking like a moron, but if ya'll hate work as much as I do, I wont blame ya'.

2002-09-09 12:44:43 PM
Using George W. Bush's standards, he could do this all the way up until 40, and still call it 'youthful indiscretions'.

The double-standard is mind-blowing.

2002-09-09 12:45:52 PM
$45 a qz, 21 pounds a week, $12,000 means 3 1/2 weeks work. Not bad.
