According to Urban Dictionary, a "pannis" is between the navel and the breasts. A "gunt" or "fupa" is between the navel and the hoo-haa.

karatekitten13: SCUBA Diving Rule #1 - Never hold your breath.

SCUBA Diving Rule # 2 - If you are not sure what it is, don't touch it. If it doesn't swim away when you approach it, don't touch it.

Asshat.

It is rare that divers get attacked by sharks because sharks attack from below (which is why surfers always gets munched). Divers are usually closer to the ocean floor, so they go unnoticed by sharks.

Now if you go around poking sharks, why are you surprised when you get bit?

Came here to basically say this. Well, namely the 2nd rule. First one is a good one too, though.

Worse than a nurse shark the Scyliorhinus canicula aka--Lesser Spotted Dogfish.

Lesser Spotted Dogfish grow to 60-100 cm (2-3 feet) long and most weigh less than 1kg (2lb), although the Welsh rod-caught record, caught off Mumbles (South Wales) in 1987 weighed nearly 4 lb (approx. 1.8 kg).

This guy seems to have told a fish tale by claiming the one he saw was 2 meters long.

2007-07-18 04:15:50 PM
I meant worst in that it is a much more wimpy fish than a nurse shark.

always carry a knife & spear so that you may kill fish:

disembowel them underwater:

and then feed their offal to sharks:

thereby ensuring your safety.

but touching a sleeping shark? man, thats just asinine

Listen, there are some sharks you can touch, there are some you can't. This is one of the ones you CAN. This is the 'small-spotted catshark'. Here is a link to it's homepage:

http://fishbase.org/Summary/SpeciesSummary.php?id=845

If you torment the poor thing, though, expect to get bit (even though it would take quite a bit of acrobatics for it to get its ventrally-located mouth on your arm).

These are safe sharks. Do not try to pet a mako.

That is all

Aftenposten, by the way, is the New York Post of Norway.

Don't believe a word you read in it. It's pretty much pure Fark.

Watch out for the Moscow News and Pravda stories, also.
