My very own crack house!

2002-09-07 10:20:47 PM
And the other $19,600 will be financed at 9.75% interest, when mortgage rates are around 6% right now. What a bargain.

2002-09-07 10:30:29 PM
Burr Oak, Kansas? Is it worth $225?

2002-09-07 10:58:35 PM
YOU ARE BIDDING ON THE DOWN PAYMENT ONLY!!

2002-09-07 11:42:33 PM

2002-09-08 05:51:13 AM

2002-09-08 05:52:57 AM
Great link, you idiot. Read the Auction details first. Tsk, kids....

2002-09-08 05:53:15 AM
Who the fark wants to live in Kansas?!?!??!!??????????!?!?!

2002-09-08 05:59:37 AM
hey buttcheese, you may think its nonsense, and i agree, but at the same time there have been bidders, and with that interest rate he will be making more than if he would have just sold it. unless someone bids $10,000. haha then he has to credit the other half. actually, if you bid the full 20,000, does he have to credit you 40k? haha, then you legally get your money back. that asshat.

2002-09-08 06:05:13 AM
That would be a great place to go if I wanted to wither away and die.

2002-09-08 06:05:51 AM
If I lived in Kansas I'd try to buy this place. Well, after checking into it a little more. Cheap real-estate is a good investment and though the intrest is a tad high, it's still a good deal.(maybe, unless it's a TOTAL shiathole)

2002-09-08 06:12:23 AM
MMmmmmmmmmm......lead paint

Really though, it might be worth it just for the land, depends though

2002-09-08 06:14:20 AM
No charge for the bodies in the crawlspace. Sweet.

2002-09-08 06:16:26 AM
Cheap, but it's farking Kansas. Worth it if the old guy in the first picture is included.

2002-09-08 06:18:40 AM
What a lovely shade of lime green.

2002-09-08 06:20:54 AM
You've really got to admire that word trim. It's not the prettiest house on the block but I guess I'd hit it.

2002-09-08 06:22:21 AM
Location, location, Kansas.

$225 should be the full price.

2002-09-08 06:26:44 AM
I've been to Kansas, once. I've got a much better place in Alabama.

Ni!
2002-09-08 06:30:03 AM
Hm. $225 is about what this place here is worth if you throw in the furniture.

2002-09-08 06:33:29 AM
Looks like it's about to fall over.

I wouldn't even drop that house on a witch.

2002-09-08 06:36:43 AM
Looks like the Peacock Family home from the X Files. Creepy.

2002-09-08 06:41:26 AM
YOU ARE BIDDING ON THE DOWN PAYMENT ONLY!!

The terms of the contract are as follows: The sale price of the property is just $19,900!! The high bidder shall pay the winning bid within 72 hours after the close of the auction. The amount of your bid will be subtracted from the $19,900 and the owner will carry back the balance at ONLY $195 a month including interest at 9.75% .

I guess reading the entire link is now optional?

2002-09-08 06:45:29 AM

You can rent a room here if you like....?

Perhaps you should have read the whole listing before posting this. Like the part in the huge red letters that say
YOU ARE BIDDING ON THE DOWN PAYMENT ONLY!!

2002-09-08 07:34:07 AM

2002-09-08 07:36:04 AM
Total farker please confirm there is a photoshop coming up in -20 mins ?

2002-09-08 07:37:24 AM
That episode was called "Home" and it was a very cool one indeed.

2002-09-08 07:39:25 AM
Unfortunately Trader_of_shots there isn't any way to tell other than the time list.

2002-09-08 07:41:27 AM
I'm not sure but I think Home may be banned here. I have not seen it since the original. Even Space hasn't shown it to my knowledge.

2002-09-08 07:43:20 AM
I'd like to think that this is the kind of place that the Stuntaz live in.

2002-09-08 07:43:29 AM
"Home" isn't allowed on network tv, but it was on FX.

2002-09-08 07:44:34 AM
Macdabomb,

Very cool!

2002-09-08 07:51:01 AM
See, this all depends on your definition of 'home'.

Some people seem reasonably happy sleeping in card board boxes in mainland china so that they can save money on commute/rent ect. Theoretically one could buy a large telivision for $250 US, use the box as a home, and then they could have a TV, too! Nowhere to plug it in, but hey, details, details...

2002-09-08 07:52:28 AM
I never get tired of Stuntaz.

2002-09-08 07:58:40 AM
Hytes: I was so shocked the other day when I found that there were farkers that didn't know of the Stuntaz... I feel compelled to act these days. We can't let our cliches fade into the background!

2002-09-08 08:03:35 AM
Now I can make my own wrathful grapes!

2002-09-08 08:09:00 AM
Wrong place to sell.

IMO, anyone who can:

1. Afford a computer
2. Afford to get online
3. Is literate

would not want to purchase a shiathole like that. Unless they are somehow related to Ed Gein.

2002-09-08 08:09:22 AM
Woohoo, another one!

2002-09-08 08:37:49 AM

I'll have to check with an attorney to find out if he's legally obligated to honor his terms of sale if someone comes by and bids the full amount of the property. If he's required to do so, then I bid full price, take possession along with an extra 20 grand, then I'll re-list the house for sale. Anything I make off of the resale is clear profit for me.

2002-09-08 09:05:42 AM
greeeeeeen acres is the life for me....

2002-09-08 09:19:29 AM
I think I saw a ghost on the front porch

2002-09-08 09:21:54 AM
Wow!! My own hovel for $225 and $195/month?! Is this the seller?

2002-09-08 09:35:53 AM
You always have to read the fine print at the end of the contract... I wonder how many ebayers saw the house and put a bid on it thinking "Wow, only $225?" never reading down far enough to know it's the down payment...

Now if someone would post one of those old missile silos for sale on ebay, It's time for me to make my secret lair...

2002-09-08 09:35:54 AM
On Long Island where I live, if that house has at least 1/8 of an acre of property, it would sell for at least 200k.

2002-09-08 09:45:39 AM
let's not forget the botoom line folks..On Sep-07-02 at 19:33:56 PDT, seller added the following information:
Pay me securely with any major credit card
hopefully you're not just buying the pictures!

2002-09-08 09:49:36 AM
Misleading Headline. It's only the Down Payment.

2002-09-08 10:22:05 AM
who are Stuntaz???

2002-09-08 10:36:28 AM

2002-09-08 10:40:53 AM
WOW X-Chip. I'm lovin' those wooden windows!
