Yup, Mickey D's uses the caulking guns too. I worked there for 2 years, I will never eat at a McDonald's again. Some of the stuff the grill crew does to your food, you don't want to know. Especially late at night.

I saw one guy drop a hamburger patty on the floor, pick it up, grill it a little bit more, and send it out. Then there was all the buns that we dropped and used any way.

In other words, don't trust minimum wage employees with your food.

I used to work at McDonald's and we could never understand why people would eat there. Still don't actually. It makes me laugh when people blame McDonald's for their problems. I also laugh because they're big fat fatties.

Hate to burst people's bubbles, but a waiter at the Ritz-Carlton is just as likely to not wash his hands or do nasty things to the food.

That being said, I still feel safer at a classy restaurant with a chef than I do at a FF place with teenage minimum-wage malcontents. But you never know.
One time I bought a Whopper with cheese on my way back to work and when I unwrapped it, I found a shoe print! Man that was gross. I took it back immediately, and the manager threw it at the guy who he thought was responsible while yelling "Would you want to eat that"?
But that not why I don't eat fast food. I just don't like it too much anymore. Lost my taste for it, I guess. I do like KFC once in a while though.

I use to have a McJob at McD. I just hope that the McD where I live is nothing like the one I worked at. Nasty disgusting and filthy, and that's just the people who work there. The grill was spotless... I should know I cleaned it constantly... I was too anal retentive back then not to...

What you you should be pissed about is the way America see every minor infringment of the law as an oportunity for a hand out and the way the "justice" system allows it. To sue over being fat is stupid but it's allowed and therefore valid and allowable. The only fairly healthy meal at McDonald's I've found is (and I'm talking in majorly relative terms here):

- Chicken McGrill sandwich with NO MAYO
- small Fruit N' Yogurt parfait (yeah carbs, low fat though)
- a water

That's it. Looking over their whole menu I couldn't find anything thing else worthy of consumption.

It's stupid that all these people getting the McSalad or whatever it's called thinking they're being healthy while pouring 5 or 6 tablespoons of fat (aka dressing) on top.
