Isn't that one of the signs of the Apocalypse?

Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. He came and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne. And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb.

Yeah...lame without Gabriel. However Marillion fills the gap quite nicely...to bad no US tour for them. Not sure if there is big enough of a followinig here.

Loved some G growing up. Only tapes I actually had to buy twice because I wore them out.

Of course, then the 80's came and they proceeded to stink it up.

Did Fish rejoin the fold?

Trust me, it takes some getting used to, but the Hogarth stuff is actually better than anything Marillion did in their Fish days. Especially Brave, Afraid of Sunlight and Marbles are gems well worth picking up. More so than the tripe Fish has been releasing since he went solo, anyway (although he's still as fun as only a drunk Scotsman can be when performing live).

Seconds Out was the last of the Genesis I loved. To have the perfect reunion, Gabriel and Hackett is a must. Having Bill Bruford would be sweet. Even Chester Thompson (sp )would be a good thing. Phil would be good, as long as he didn't sing (maybe post Gabriel songs, but that's IT).

I would rather vomit blood than hear such an atrocity.
I'm already vomitting bile just at the thought of it.

Old enough to have purchased the double album when it came out, and worked security at the Lamb concert in Munich in 1975, if I recall correctly. Gabriel was injured (hurt leg or something) and had to pretty much stand still, which was not exactly his style.

Fritriac: farked to this music.

You just brought up some wonderful memories!

I dunno, I liked Vigil In a Wilderness of Mirrors and Internal Exile.

The Hogarth stuff is OK, but something about Fish's voice just pulled it all together with them.

There's Howard Hughes in blue swede shoes
smiling at the majorettes, smoking Winston cigarettes...
As as the song and dance begins, the children play at home

+1 subby for taste.

Forget the contemporary Genesis, rush to see The Musical Box while you can. They are to Genesis what exact re-enactment troupes are to Shakespeare. If you like Trespass, Foxtrot, Selling England and The Lamb I guarantee you will not be disappointed by one of their concerts, which use the original stage sets and period instruments, and I hear they are going to stop soon.

/it is real, it is Rael...

Not sure why the hawk warrants a headline. They're pretty common in Manhattan, as are kestrel. Lots of nice, high perches and plenty of fat, dumb pigeons to feast on.
