Holy hell, that guy gets worse every single day...

CNN is helping the terrorist by reporting what they do?!?!

Are you seriously that retarded?

2007-06-12 06:34:29 PM
How on God's green earth does this man have any credibility with anyone?

What an utterly worthless human being.

I love Bill O!!

I'm going to go buy 6 copies of his autographed book and 30 coffee mugs for Father's Day!

Keep it real, dawg!

/This makes me question evolution.

"If the Americans go in and overthrow Saddam Hussein and it's clean, he has nothing, I will apologize to the nation, and I will not trust the Bush Administration again, all right?" -on finding weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, March 18, 2003

Bill O'Reilly is a Grade-A asshole.
I try not to hate on anyone, ever, but this guy makes that impossible.
Screw you, jerkface.

2007-06-12 06:39:01 PM
CNN and MSNBC are actually helping the terrorists by reporting useless explosions

Mmmmmkay, Bill...

2007-06-12 06:39:22 PM
stevecody, that last 28% that supports W actually believes that we did find weapons of mass destruction. Even if you point out all the alleged discoveries that turned out to be false.

Project for Excellence in Journalism obviously never noticed the extensive coverage that Billy O gives to the war in Iraq in his weekly column in the Paris Business Review.

I think Bill won a Pulitzer or a Peabody (or something) for those insightful pieces of journalism...?

You'd think even the slower viewers of Fox News should be starting to realize they've been played for fools for years now.

2007-06-12 07:10:33 PM
But on my program, I don't do a lot of Iraq reporting because we don't know what's happening. We can't find out. Now the reason that CNN and MSNBC do so much Iraq reporting is because they want to embarrass the Bush administration.

So if I read that right, Bill just conceded the point that CNN and MSNBC are better informed than he is about what it's like in Iraq.

Both do. And all their reporting consists of is here's another explosion. Bang. Here's more people dead. Bang.

well if that's all that's happening, it's no wonder they're reporting it.

What happened to you, Weaver? You're been... reasonable lately.

2007-06-12 07:35:00 PM
I recall fondly the days when Weaver was the great supporter of the war.

Sad to see that go.

Plus, anyone see DIA give up on the Bush admin. in a recent thread? The times they are a changin'

Reporting on all of the dead people that are dead most likely as a result of Bush's ill-informed decision to invade Iraq should, in fact, embarass the crap out of Bush. However, that that same reporting is pretty farking dead on truth means nothing to O'Reilly.
Also, I don't think that Bush, or his inner circle in the Legion of Doom for that matter, are capable of feeling embarassed, so why not cover the farking story, Bill? Do war, death, dieing, explosions, and killing not get good ratings anymore?

2007-06-12 07:58:13 PM
What happened to you, Weaver? You're been... reasonable lately.

Others would disagree with your assessment.

Regarding Iraq - I'm just not seeing that we've got any plan for that situation. Nobody, Republican or Democrat, seems to know what to do. When we went in there, Bush said he knew what to do. Well....here we are and Bush's plan (assuming he had one in the first place) sure isn't working. And if you ask the white house what they're doing, they mumble something about staying the course and then change the subject.

The Democrats aren't any better. They're almost gleeful over the President's failures. They make noises about supporting the troops, but don't put forward any idea on how to get everyone home. And if you ask them what their plan is, they mumble something about Bush and then change the subject.

And while both parties are busy (ab)using the military to gain better field position for the next presidential election cycle, people keep dying in Iraq. Not to mention that despite our apparent lockdown of Afghanistan, the heroin output seems to have trippled since we took over that country.

Then there's the whole 'war on terror' thing. Now, we all know how the 'war on drugs' turned out (it increased quality, didn't stop demand, and actually LOWERED the price of street drugs). I'm worried that Bush's war on terror is going to do the same thing for terrorism that the war on drugs did for the drug supply.

Given all the above, I just can't support this adminstration and it's stance on Iraq. I'm all for beating the crap out of militant muslim nation states. I think we should pound 'em into the dirt once every 20 years or so just on general principal. But you can't do that without a plan - and that's what we seem to be lacking.

2007-06-12 08:04:51 PM
Just...wow. Holy crap. Once again, O'Reilly proves that he doesn't think at all when he's talking. It's understandable, everyone else worth a damn has tuned him out, so guess he tuned himself out too.

Bill:

If CNN and MSNBC are only covering the war to embarrass the (un-embarrassable) Bush Administration, then what motive does Fox have for covering the Anna Nicole Smith story twice as often as either of those networks?

Necrophilia?

Weaver95: Regarding Iraq

Well, I don't hang around much, so maybe this is old news, but I applaud you on being able to look at reality and adjust your worldview according to it instead of being so hopelessly mired in partisan ideaology that you are unable to change.

Unlike, say... Bill O'Reilly.

/aaaand back on topic.

Satan is currently busy opening up two new levels of hell. The 10th level is reserved for the entire Bush administration, oil execs, and Halliburton employees.

The 11th level is strictly reserved for Bill O'Reilly.

Gasp! Someone telling it like it is instead of jumping on the liberal troop hating bandwagon! I'm shocked! Keep up the excellent journalism Bill.

2007-06-12 10:13:23 PM
O'Reilly's world view:
1. Paris and Anna Nicole = big, important news
2. Terrorist bombs killing Americans = "means nothing"
3. blaming his coverage choices on a left wing conspiracy = "no spin zone"
4. dirty phone calls about bath time with interns = "The Factor"
5. inserting himself into every news story and telling us all how he is better than other journalists = another day at the office

Kiribub LOL, nice one.

Btw Thrag every rational person on here agrees with you. I seriously feel sorry for the trolls, they either are mentally insane or starving for attention.

Oh for chrissake.. You can't just jump into a discussion and post any old crap if you want to troll. There has to be some subtlety to it. You want to start off slow, hook a couple fish, then build to a ever more ridiculous climax. If you start off posting obvious parodies of right-wingers nobody's going to take you seriously.
