Anybody stop and think that maybe the whales beaching themselves are slightly retarded whales and we're weakening the species by saving the slower ones?
Or maybe this is their way of slowly becoming land animals so they can kill us?

So they should throw dirt at them?

2007-05-25 02:11:59 PM
Have they tried just leaving the damn whales alone for a couple days? They're obviously confused as all hell and everyone thinks doing a bunch of weird shiat around them is going to make them less confused.

I think these whales are just a decoy to divert our attention while the other whales stage their attack on mankind.

offacue So they should throw dirt at them?

No open up a gas pipeline under the water and light it.

They will leave the area.

Or a bunch of folks get to eat boiled whale.

Take your pick.

2007-05-25 02:15:37 PM
These poor whales are probably highly stressed now.
These things never work out.

2007-05-25 02:15:50 PM
I think it's important to let nature take its course. If the whales make it back to see on their own, great. If the dumbshiats beach themselves and die, I'm sure their species will benefit from their elimination from the gene pool.

Ex-Republican

Nope. I'm sure there's a joke in your comment, but I couldnt didn't find anything funny. Much like being called a whale!

2007-05-25 02:16:59 PM
I agree. Leave them alone and let them work this out on their own. They've been under stress from all these hippy farks for over a week. Imagine walking into a mansion, getting lost, and your next week is spent running room to room while people bang on pipes and chase you in vehicles. All day, everyday.

I know Californians are stupid but this is amazing.

2007-05-25 02:17:23 PM
It's official. They are completely out of ideas.

Frankly, they should (try to) block off that damn bridge from traffic for a few hours and see if they are less spooked and get past it.

If they can't commit to that, let the Whale Gene Pool cleanse itself a bit.

2007-05-25 02:20:06 PM
I say we kill them and eat them. I want a whale burger.

2007-05-25 02:20:21 PM
Wow, I guess all those dumbfarks from childhood did grow up to be marine biologists just like they wanted.

I say nuke all of California. That way we don't have to worry about those whales evolving to live in Rivers then killing us.

It is the only way to be safe.

They are too far astray. They will never make it back to the sea without help. I've driven that route in a boat - those whales are in a maze of twisty passages, all alike.

Humpbacks are an endangered species. If they had a big gene pool available, I'd agree to leave them alone. The loss of a female in her reproductive prime is not helpful to restoring the gene pool to an adequate size.

Whale 1: Hey buddy, what the fark is that?

Whale 2: Shiat! It's a boat.

Whale 1: Well, let's ask him where we are. I don't want to miss my first chance to mate because your ass wanted to seperate from the pod.

Whale 1: No, you jackass. Those are people and we are farkin' farked now! If we're off the coast of Japan, we're going to end up in a muthafarkin' tunafish can. And if we're off the coast of America we're going to end up in a water zoo jumping through hoops of fire for some asshole and his kids who he hasn't seen for six months because their mother moved to Chicago with Derek and he's trying to make up for lost time.

Whale 2: They're shooting farking water! Dive! Dive!

Lure them out with a Big-Mac and diet coke! All the whales at this CA. Navy base can't resist that.

humpbacks arent 'that' endangered. their numbers have been increasing steadily for years.

Goobs lordy, what's the deal with the Sacramento River and whales? OK Humphrey was in the 80s but ceeripes, it's about once every two years one of those things decides, "Hey, that must be where the party is!."

Funny to think these were dog-like creatures that thought it would be a good plan to go back into the water. Maybe we have milk bones?

Is it just me or does it seem like the science community's handling of this whale situation is reminiscent of Principal Rooney's handling of the Ferris Bueller Situation?

I got about fifty feet out, and then suddenly the great beast appeared before me.
I tell you, he was ten stories high if he was a foot!. As if sensing my presence, he let out a great bellow. I said, "Easy, big fella!" And then as I watched him struggling, I realized something was obstructing his breathing. From where I was standing, I could see directly into the eye of the great fish!
