They'll grow up to be Goons on Something Awful.

Ok, laying bets. You work for Child Welfare Services. Do you giggle at this video or not?

Your bet is rigged.

My brother used to try to get me in trouble, usually by ruining things and blaming me. So one day he's acting up, and dad grabs me by the arm and drags me into my room, slamming the door. He then gives me a wink and proceeds to clap his hands and loudly smack his own thigh. I play along scream bloody murder.

I will never forget the look of horror on my brother's face when we opened the door.

So awesome.

Congratulations Mom and Dad.

You just dropped about $20,000 into the therapy fund of your two children.

I hope at least one of them grows up to be gay and lets Dad know it's this incident that brought it on.

/bitter
//remember dad doing stuff like this to me
///when I told my mom I was gay, she did in fact say, "not all men are like your father, sweetie..."
////just sayin'....

I call shenanigans.....

Them kids are way to old to be in the same bed for any other reason than the setting up of this video, unless a florida tag was used.

Plus, they're fully dressed, rather than in pyjamas, also indicating that this was a setup.

Still, 10 points for the "What's up with you"....

Fake. Bullshiat.

2007-05-15 04:00:55 AM
Would have been better if the one kid had jumped right through the window ;)

Being woken by a chainsaw would suck no matter what movie you watched last night.

and anyone who calls it a fake will someday be crushed under the weight of their own bitter cynicism.

"What's wrong with you!?" Classic.

2007-05-15 05:59:54 AM
*sigh* It's NOT fake.
It's an AFHV (or AFV as it's called today) Winner.
And yeah, they can afford the therapy. They won 10k, maybe 100k, I can't remember, but at the very least, wound up on the show and won.

I learned NOT to play practical jokes like that.

On a warm day, the bed still smells like pee ;)

Oh, that's right up there with a principal and teacher setting up 6th graders to think they're about to be shot to death. When the kids someday walk into the police station carrying their parents' severed heads, this tape will get them acquitted. I'm sorry, set up or not, this is rotten and not at all amusing.

2007-05-15 07:46:03 AM
Good comedy.

Even funnier - in the next few years, the parents will both die at the hands of those two kids.

Hilarious.

I, too remember this winning AFHV years ago, before YouTube, before things like this were all over the innerwebs.

Eh, they were up late watching movies. They probably crashed in their regular clothes instead of taking time to put on pajamas. My son always falls asleep without putting on pajamas.

The sharing bed thing...well, it's the only bed in the room. Not that unusual.

I find the subtleties in the humour seen here fas funnier.

The best part is when the kid says, "What's wrong with you?!" . I lol'd. And I agree, same bed, clothes on, not unusual for a couple of kids.

Sleepovers are awesome. Staying up all night, talking about bewbs. Getting attacked by chainsaw wielding loons.

Good times, good times.

I felt pretty bad for the kid, but what got me laughing was how unwavering the dad was in getting footage of the kid crying. Subtle humor...the dad must have really really been enjoying that, lol

The kid is saying "Chat" not "Dad".
It was probably his brother. If I would have had a pussy brother that would start crying like that then I'd try to toughen him up too, lol.

GoSpelunking, I wish to know about said death fearing 6th graders.

I loved the extra 10 seconds of the kid crying. Priceless.

I think by fake he meant "staged". The fact that it even appeared on AFV makes me agree.

And that same child will be the one to abandon his father in his declining years.

Kids don't forget these things.

If that is real, it is child abuse.

minoridiot: Don't be a touchy-feely pc idiot. Don't tell me you think they should sue.

This would have been a funny dorm prank. But it wasn't.

These aren't late-teens or adults; these are children. It's crap like this which affects kids for a long period. The younger the kid is, the more lasting the trauma as it imprints deeply.

That's why it's critical to imprint religion and "values" early as they take hold -- same with language acquisition.

Nothing to do with "manning up" or suing. This is harmful.

all you morans talking about how scarred the kids will be need to get a friggin helmet... grow up and get off your high horse... and the kids were sleeping in the same bed cause they had just watched texas chainsaw and were freaked out..

I chuckled a bit, but after the fact I realized how young they were, it's pretty farked up.

Doing that to your 17-18 year old... OK I am cool with that, but young kids? Gee Mom and Dad, you're a couple a$$holes.

I hope the payback is a mutherfarker.

I am a child psychiatrist, and I am really getting a kick out of these replies.

hey, they shouldn't have stayed up late and snuck in a viewing of texas chainsaw massacre in the first place. there's a lesson in this, it's not just dad f'ing with his kids.

I love how the mom calls it "texas cheerleader chainsaw massacre". Musta been on cinemax.
