Elk Grove is a suburb of Sacramento and not a very good neighborhood, either. It's not as much of a shiathole as some of the other suburbs, but it's no Roseville, either.

To be fair, if the kid is stealing cars, he's probably a royal pain in the ass at home. The mother was likely glad to see him go, and when the cops brought him back instead of arresting him, it must've been infuriating.

I think the more salient question would be about single mothers, which this one may be, and 7 of 10 black mothers are. That is a sad state of affairs. I think that number is rising for white mothers as well. The family unit was responsible for America's growth to greatness, it's demise will lead to America's downfall.

But, I'll bite. My GF's quasi friend. White girl, dumb as a bag of hammers. Gets pregnant by a guy who has 5 kids with 4 different mothers. Y'RLY. Of course, he splits. 2 years later he comes back, convinces her he wants to stay and be daddy, gets her to co-sign a car loan for him, and splits.
After doing some petty jail time, he comes back about a year later, once again with the convincing and the hey hey hey.
