First problem I see, their convoy is going to use I-70. I-70 is broken. Major repairs. Bridge replacements. Texas Tea. It's not going to be "heavy traffic". It's going to be "Parking Lot".

Also, there are signs all over the entrances forbidding heavy vehicles. Not the best place to move "2.6 million pounds of cargo".

Maybe I'll just take the day off.

There are actually a few things in Indiana that could be a target: Crane Naval Base, Gibson Generating Station, Indianapolis (for logistic reasons). Yeah, it's not very likely for a bomb to be dropped around here but I'd rather that they had a plan than didn't. At the very least, this gives them practice in case some other type of disaster (tornado, earthquake, massive fire, etc) takes place.

They have to be doing this for a reason, there must be a real threat. Hoosiers, our time is short.

Think about it, no one would see it coming.

It's not so much that Indiana is a viable target. Rather, it's just a place where holding an exercise there would be more practical than say in downtown LA, DC, or NYC. It's just a test of military readiness to such an attack.

Is this gonna be like the simulations they had in NY on 911 or in london the same day as the subway thing? Just askin.

Screw Indiana. I hope Chicago sends all it's trash over there. Oh, we send it to downstate IL. Screw them too! I know this because of a wrongful death case I defended. The manager of the landfill informed me that searching for the weapon involved moving about 4 tons of trash. I did not pursue it.

Actually in the 80's and early 90's, ND had a assload of nuclear weapons. It was one of the worst places to be.

Korean bombers? Wow, that is messed up. I guess the Red Scare was in full force at the time. When I legally immigrated to America I moved to Oak Park, Illinois, which I later found out is the primary place for Soviets to target an ICBM. It makes sense as all of America's railroads go through Chicago and it (at that time) had the world's busiest airport.

Places like Indiana are where smart people look for real solutions to problems. Why is there not a tag that says 'Indiana'?

Well, I hope you're right, and they'll go after the ad agencies and arbitrageurs on the east coast, and the important Hollywood celebs on the west coast.

But it's possible that they know about Crane, and Rolls Royce, and Allison Transmission, and other important military targets in Indiana. Or, God forbid, the Newport facility that stores VX nerve agent.

According to the Free Internet Press, the terror target list contains 8,591 possible targets in Indiana, including the Amish Country Popcorn plant. Glad to know we can still have popcorn after an attack :P
