Speaking as a Georgian and one who *was* in Barr's 7th District, this is a major relief. I actually had the "pleasure" of interviewing this man when I was a member of the press. To say he's an asshat is an understatement. I'm not too sorry to see McKinney go either, but thank God almighty, the 7th District is FREE AT LAST!

I went to McKinney's web site and she had the entire clip of her debate with Majette. BIG headline saying "Listen to the debate uncut, unedited and YOU decide who's the right canidate"

I watched the video... and she came across as a wacko, not listening to the debate coordinators, giving herself time to rebuttal rebuttals. Saying she deserves money from Saudis because she doesn't care who gives her money, as long as they give her money.

I voted for Linder. Among obvious reasons, I thought Barr was a chickenshiat and asshat for running against an incumbent republican instead of a democrat when he got gerrymandered out of his district. Take the fight to the opposition, not yourselves.

I was watching WSB-TV lastnight and it was funny to see that Monica Kaufman and Richard Belcher were actually pulling for Cynthia McKinney. They laughed at Majette for talking like a "winner" when the southern precincts had yet to report in. Bill Nigut put ole Monica in her place! I guess Monica needs to stick to changing her hair styles and her "close-ups" and stop predicting the outcome of elections.

Man, it's not even November yet and I'm loving the 2002 elections...
