Someone call up and tell him that the gradients at the top of each section (under the skittles bar) look REALLY STUPID and don't even work correctly!

Notice how on the main page the skittles tab (such as "Not News") bleeds into the awful looking gradient... and then when you click comments there is a big black bar separating it from the gradient. This looks awful.

It would look much better to just move the big gray "Logged in as..." bar up to the top and not waste all that space for a gradient that looks totally awkward to begin with.

Oh yeah and when you don't have your window maximized this dark gray comments box has like 4 or 5 pixels of padding on the left and zero padding on the right which also looks terrible.

Speaking of the redesign I have a question.

When the redesigned site was launched the grey background was way lighter than it is now and everyone went ape-shiat over how bright the site was. Now they've gradually made the grey darker and darker until it's just about the same darkness as the old blue background. Why didn't they just leave the background the same blue color. This could have, ya know, retained some of the branding that Farkers have come to love.

And the left justification still sucks ass but I'm getting over it.

I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not but if you are being serious all I can say is that if you can't read the writing on the wall your friggin blind.

In 2 years fark.com will no longer be the same. It will be some tame-ass vanilla version of it's former self.

Another web site will take it's place and the shiat will repeat again. It's the way of the internet forum.

I'd like to point out that I submitted a link, and not even the totalfarkers got to see it... They're approving links for TF to see now.

Which of course means that UltraFark is going to be a reality. I wonder how much they'll charge for that.

Fark TV is on the main cnn.com page but it wouldn't let me submit that as a plug either. cnn.com was submitted back in 2001. Stupid Fark.

I have always wondered why people pay for Total Fark. I have been a lurker forever and just recently started posting every now and then.

From my years of lurking it seems that the people with Total Fark absolutely love it when an article gets the green light to be on the public Fark website.

I'd always imagined that if only Total Farkers were allowed to post you guys would be a lonely, bored bunch. So why pay for it when you get the best of it for free?

An honest question really.

I think its a way for people to feel "elite" amongst a group of people.

The reason they enjoy links being greenlighted is so the liter class get to see them chatting with their upperclass friends.
