I don't understand.

In other news, Al Gore has a brother. Goo Gore.

FarkTV = PoopTV.

His delivery of the accent starts out very strong, gay and all.

I liked the math girl, but this was pretty weak.

Fark this show.
"Penelope Princess of Pets" (another Super Deluxe show) blows this out of the water.

Here we go again.

I'm sorry but that was the worst one yet.

FarkTVs have been bad, but that was was really good. If you didn't like it, you either LOVE Al Gore and can't laugh at something slightly making fun of him or your inner child was raped and murdered by Drew's inner pedophile. :(

Stop making these things.

They are HORRIBLE.

30 minutes of "Knock Knock" jokes would be funnier, hacks.

2007-04-19 01:59:17 PM
NASCAR and country music? They've convinced me.

Well, I watched it. Here is what I thought.

In an attempt to go beyond "folklinguistic" assumptions about how comedy is created (the assumption that southerners are "idiots", for example), studies have focused on anything from different syntactical, phonological or lexical uses of language to aspects of conversation analysis, such as topic nomination and control, interruptions and other interactional features. While some productions have focused only on the description of differences, other work has sought to show how linguistic differences both reflect and reproduce social difference.

In order to qualify as a 'comical' parody you must go beyond the simple description of the sources you draw from. If you are writing a 'skit' with reference to specific comical questions or objectives then you might consider:

•the breadth of different pieces of work - how wide a range of the possible subject matter defined by your question(s) or objective(s) do different pieces of humor cover?
•the depth of the different pieces of work - how detailed is the analysis of the subject matter in each joke?
•the relevance of each piece of comedy to your specific question(s) or objective(s). Are subject(s) missed out in different sources? Are the research methods adopted in one source more useful in answering your question(s) than those adopted in another? - and so on.
•contradictions and inconsistencies, both within single pieces of work ,and as a result of making comparisons between the work of different comics.

In short, FARK TV is roughly equivalent to the phenomenological production of veritas, that is, it is shiat.

I have SuperAd Blocker but the goddamn Fark TV ad keeps showing up; any suggestions? Different software perhaps?

/Fark TV = The Chevy Chase Show but not as funny.

Ever since I met George Jones in the Lake Delton Walmart, we've had mild winters. Coincidence?

I have done that and it works once, but when I return to Fark the ads return. I suppose never having to see one of those ads again, ever, is too much to ask. Thanks for the help.

2007-04-19 02:22:19 PM
I think most of you people saying it sucks didn't even watch it. This isn't anywhere near as bad as the other FarkTVs and is, in fact, pretty good.

2007-04-19 02:22:47 PM
The video's claim is patently untrue, since everything wrong in the world today can be blamed on George W. Bush or high-fructose corn syrup.

Once again, an episode of Fark tv proves Megan's Law.

Megan's Law regarding Fark tv:

As the screentime for Megan Hayes in a Fark tv episode approaches zero, the probability of an episode of Fark tv being unfunny and unwatchable approaches one.

So where's she been lately? Besides making commercials for Home Depot?

Are you using Explorer or Firefox? On Firefox, I right-clicked it once, and the ads haven't come back yet.

In fact, the blank blue square is much more watchable than a Fark TV episode.

Pick: In other news, Al Gore has a brother.

I wonder if he has the Al Gore rhythm.

This one was pretty funny - good impersonaton. I also liked the punch line at the end of the 107 wives one. Good job guys.

Regardless of the quality of the skit, anything that talks shiat about NASCAR and country music is FINE BY ME!

/country music promotes consanguinity
//NASCAR is cars turning left a lot, which we city folks see so often that it's no longer exciting

2007-04-19 03:18:17 PM
Wow you guys have topped the previous episodes!!

I didn't think they could get worse, thanks for proving me wrong.

2007-04-19 03:23:30 PM
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it pirates that cause global warming?

WTF? You guys are stealing concepts from FSM?

May his noodly appendage give you a vigorous colonoscopy.

/didn't WTFV (watch the farking video)
//Don't think I'm missing anything.

Since Al Gore needs a new cause to parrot (Global warm mongering is old and dead), he should take up the evils of High Fructose Corn Syrup.

The video's claim is patently untrue, since everything wrong in the world today can be blamed on George W. Bush or high-fructose corn syrup.

...either that or he could take up the cause of bad lyrics in music and/or violent video games.

He could make all those sound like the end of the world.

It's not comedy ,it's FARKtv!

On Firefox, I right-clicked it once, and the ads haven't come back yet.

Best thing to ever come out of a FarkTV thread. You'd think I would have noticed the 'block images' selection in the context menu by now.

I have enjoyed many of the FarkTV episodes, but this one was LAME. Try again guys...

2007-04-19 04:11:21 PM
Has the world completely forgot about Tipper's crusade against rock/rap/pop music lyrics back in the 80's when Al was a pro-lifeish conservative Bible thumper? Back when Frank Zappa said something to the effect that she was the most dangerous woman alive?
Maybe the Fark TV parody of Al and global warming is funny to me because it harkens back to the Gore's last great attempt to save humanity.
