No Bengals joke? Dissapointing

And now i read the story.

Oh noes, he was going 77 in a 65!!!

56 in a 45 isn't horrible, "imprudent speed" is WTF, and another 77 in a 65. I know that Arizona is full of old people who drive slow as hell on the freeways, but that sucks. Looks like I'm never going to Scottsdale.

/hey, I'm just like Matt Leinart now, I have a ticket for going 77 in a 65 and another for "too fast for conditions" which is basically "imprudent speed"

People can get all kinds of stupid propositions on the ballots in the several states. Why don't we start getting laws to forbid the use of speed cams. I hate those things. Red light cams are annoying, but running a red has the potential to cause severe damage; a little speeding; not so much, and aren't worth the violation of people's privacy.

if they don't kick him out like they did Pacman, then the NFL is racist.

:P

At some point we will all have tracking devices on us permanently with cameras and it will be accepted because "as long as you're not doing anything illegal you don't have anything to fear!".

It will seem cool when companies exploit it to allow you to see where all your friends are at any given moment...and then people will realize how much they're better off not knowing what everyone's doing at all times.

Four tickets in four months? I think the article's referring to June 2006 and March 2007.

How long does it take to find out you've been ticketed by a camera? His three March tickets were four days apart. If he'd been ticketed by an officer the first time, he probably would have slowed down, at least for a while.

even at that point, they better not try to put those cameras anywhere on I-5; there'd be hundreds of thousands of tickets every day between San Diego and LA alone.

Actually old people avoid Scottsdale. I try very very hard to avoid the 101 now, with those shiatty cameras.

I go between LA and Irvine quite a bit, and I'd have a few dozen of those tickets. Depending on the time of day, traffic is either under 20 MPH or around 80.

Well, I was just referring to the Phoenix area in general with the slow drivers. Hated it when visiting family.

Damn subby, beat me to it...I just saw the article. The pictures of the drivers throwing the bird at the cameras are much better than these.

In Ohio I set my cruise control at 77 in a 65... In the last 9 years I've gotten 2 speeding tickets. One for 80 in a 65 and another for 85 in a 60. Guess I should burn in hell because I'm a bad person.
