Do guys really have any problem with females being 'sexual predators'?

Most guys I know (myself included) wouldn't mind being the 'prey' of a 'cougar' *wink wink nudge nudge* or some other species of predator. There's the biggest difference that I think Roddy can't grasp: most guys want teh sex from any moderatly attractive woman. If a woman asks a guy for meaningless sex, more often times than not he's gonna go for it. Of course I'm speaking from what I've learned by living in Norfolk where the majority of the US's navy men hang out and will hit anything that moves. Or maybe it's in the drinking system.

I think the problem is that it was a teacher and a student, but the age difference really means nothing to me. And the use of the word "predator" seems harsh considering every 17.5 year old male is trying to sleep with any girl, period.

Probably the worst thing that could happen for this kid is to suddenly have his sex life turn into front page news. If you want to talk about mental trauma, then there's your case. I imaging this kid is probably locked up in his house right now with the phone unplugged while his parents are talking about moving to another city. He's now collateral damage in a case to prosecute her.

I think that kids (near adults) are only scarred and regret the sexual encounter because of their reigious beliefs. It (reilgion) is often a source of descheveled morality and thus can elicit great feelings of greif/regret/sorrow/shame... The truth, is there is nothing wrong with sex, it's natural; it is the reason we are all here, and it's FUN. If religion were not a factor then I believe that our sexualities would not be so repressed.

Well, it would be predatory if for example she said that he had to sleep with her or she would fail him. Or if she said that she would accuse him of some misconduct and get him in trouble. Or if she promised him something she had no intention of giving him just because she likes to manipulate and humiliate him.

Fr. Fred is a scumbag. It was impossible for us to get new computers or new photo equipment the three years I was there. But, the football players got everything they wanted. Even good grades! Meanwhile I had coach Urbankski threatening to kick me out of Salpointe because I got a D in Chemistry (I turned in no homework, but got an A on all the tests). I repeatedly told my parents to send me to a public school and save their money...but they really wanted those catholic values instilled in my head. Guess that's why I'm just an unemployed sex addict now.

Well, after your comic-insulting-trollish post I decided to respond in the same spirit. I am truly sorry, BTW.

Truthfully, I have seen a whole bunch of guys who were sexually victimized by women. They all were extremely ambivalent about it while it was happening (although one case was clearly out and out rape) and all expressed regret they had done what they did and felt it hurt the relationships that followed and their sexual functioning. The fact that teenage boys will fark anything only underscores my point. They aren't thinking rationally about this and the adults are supposed to exercise good judgment. And, no, it is not religion that makes them remorseful. These were street guys (who weren't applying for disability or anything so I believe their stories).

Like I said above- prosecutorial and judicial discretion have to play a role in these cases. But women are capable of being bad, and even evil. And the ones that are need to get smacked by the same 2x4 that we use on similarly oriented men.

Seriously, though, yeah, sex at a young age with an authority figure can really fark you in the head later, and sometimes it takes a while to catch up with you. But the therapy does help.

But I have to ask: if it were one of the two women in the the pictures above, as opposed to the hot teacher, would you still be all "fark yeah"? If it were a pretty, teenaged female and some grimy wino off the street, how would you feel about it? How about if this guy slept with his male gym teacher?

And besides, aren't we all equal before the law? Why should a hot, female teacher get off (heh!) of punishment, when a male in the same boat is going to be sent to PMITA prison? Who's she going after next? 15? 13? 9?

This reminds me of the time I had a class where the teacher was a former playboy bunny... She was old as hell and we all hated her, so one day somebody found out about her dark past and brought a bunch of copies of her pictures; and proceeded to post them around the school. She was gone a day later, never heard from her again. Also, can't seem to remember her name... Otherwise i'd return the favor again.
