Well, I try to make it a point to not "be talkin" (sic) about subjects that I know little about. I have lived in 5 very distinct regions of the US, and each of them had their strengths and weaknesses. And, I actually agree with you on many of your points. I have little tolerance for racism anywhere, and unfortunately it is still alive and well here (as the article and this thread suggests).

However, your ancedotal evidence of "tons of people from up north have moved down south and then moved back" is hardly an indictment of the reality of the modern south. Times change, people change, and progress happens. Do I think where I live is the nicest place in the US? Of course not. Do I think it is a great place to live? Of course, or I wouldn't be here.

I'm just thankful there are still regional differences in US (bad or good). It would be a mighty boring country if we were all Peoria.

Your comment was regarding black people and was racist. If you intended to refer to whites only, you should have clarified, but I don't believe you meant whites - it's pretty clear it was a blanket statement on corn rows, which is a racist comment. Other people commented about corn rows on whites, not you. Still irrelevant to the bigger issue. Anyone is free to wear their hairstyle in whatever way they like, and if they're a douche, it's not just because of their hair.
