Did she include the classic top down picture of the girl?

Smookyfufu: Did she include the classic top down picture of the girl?

It's mykidnap.com!

Animals. The lot of them.

2007-04-09 12:48:28 PM
How are people this dumb? Seriously.

2007-04-09 12:49:25 PM
seriously, we're starting to need a tag for Myspace like we do for Florida.

It's stories like this that make the continued existence of humanity seem like such a miracle.

The poor girl was later found in a room with Tom and Tila Tequila. She's been catatonic since the incident.

2007-04-09 12:53:47 PM
Myspace: you can find *anything* there.

2007-04-09 12:53:54 PM
The sad part. 2 people actually did it.

2007-04-09 12:53:59 PM
What a low-life piece of shiat this woman is. Who does this?

2007-04-09 12:57:08 PM
What could possibly go wrong?

2007-04-09 12:59:31 PM
Craigslist would be better

maybe in the "casual encounters" section?

2007-04-09 12:59:41 PM
Once again: bullets to the back of the head for all four of them. These are people who clearly have nothing beneficial to offer society, so let's just handle that problem right now.

2007-04-09 01:03:12 PM
My question is why wasn't she arrested *before* the child was kidnapped? Isn't advertising for someone to perform a crime for you a crime in itself? The authorities obviously knew about the ad because they had a warrant already stating they knew about it for weeks.

And I don't know about you, but $250 apiece is not enough for me to go out and commit a felony. Farking dumbasses everywhere...

dcigary: ut $250 apiece is not enough for me to go out and commit a felony.
No kidding. After they kidnapped her, wtf were they supposed to do with her, I wonder.

Dom Roark: No kidding. After they kidnapped her, wtf were they supposed to do with her, I wonder.

I think the mother was planning on absconding with her, as it were... a child custody dispute apparently. Still, pretty reprehensible.

tnpir: Once again: bullets to the back of the head for all four of them

Four? Taking the kid out to prevent future problems, I guess?

Dom Roark: No kidding. After they kidnapped her, wtf were they supposed to do with her, I wonder.

That's the scary part. I can't even begin to imagine going to a store and letting two strangers walk away with my two year old. WTF kind of parenting is that?!

This was part of a custody dispute... so your kid is better of with two strangers, than the "maybe" of the court system?

I'll quote myself: Animals.

dcigary: Isn't advertising for someone to perform a crime for you a crime in itself?

Conspiracy to commit kidnapping is a crime; they probably didn't know about it beforehand or something.

/Isn't kidnapping an automagic life sentence?

Defleshed: I think the mother was planning on absconding with her
Yeah, most likely. Those parents are the lowest of the low.

Flan: and letting two strangers walk away with my two year old.
Exactly! If they're scum enough to even consider doing it in the first place, what makes this piece of shiat think they won't harm her? GAH

2007-04-09 01:23:51 PM
Flan: WTF kind of parenting is that?!

The shiattiest kind available (short of killing/farking the kid yourself).

Dom Roark: If they're scum enough to even consider doing it in the first place, what makes this piece of shiat think they won't harm her? GAH

I don't think she thought her cunning plan all the way through.

The last paragraph is the best part of the article. Simple and succinct and (god willing) a chance for the child:

The child is back with the father.

I just hope the father's not equally stupid in new and innovative ways.

Someone should pay Family Services $250 to kidnap the child.

2007-04-09 01:34:51 PM
God bless San Antonio. I have to share the highway with these idiots everyday, and my girlfriend wonders why I have a roadrage problem.

2007-04-09 01:35:09 PM
I never saw my child again. A++++, prompt polite service, would deal with this seller again.

You win.

I don't think some of you understand the situation.

1. Women are crazy.

2. Custody fights get ugly, there is lots of stress and pain, even when you are in the right.

3. When you feel you are in the right and you still lose custody, you can get depressed and act irrationally.

MisterRPG

Damn you for beating me to that. I was appalled to see she had used MySpace, when eBay is a much better place to find kidnappers.

2007-04-09 01:41:26 PM
thx for the add cutie, holla atcha boy

2007-04-09 01:44:14 PM
I think some of you read the story wrong. Or didn't read the story at all. The woman hired them to kidnap the child and bring it to her.

Women = nuts.

MisterRPG: I never saw my child again. A++++, prompt polite service, would deal with this seller again.

Wow.

Brilliant.

2007-04-09 01:45:52 PM
At least the custody battle has been settled.

2007-04-09 01:46:42 PM
A classic example of lack of negative thinking. "What could happen that I don't want to have happen?" should be Question 1 when you dream up your cunning plan.

2007-04-09 01:48:21 PM
Damn people, READ!

FTA: "The pair handed over the uninjured child to Gonzales at a convenience store in the 6600 block of Old Tally Road. "

She really just paid them to grab the kid. Not so much to "kidnap" the kid.

2007-04-09 01:48:27 PM
Yeah, but was she hot?

2007-04-09 01:49:02 PM
dcigary: but $250 apiece is not enough for me to go out and commit a felony.

"I've been kidnapped by Kmart."

Plenty of fathers kidnap their kids too.

I thank whomever every day that my parents didn't own a video camera when I was growing up in the 60's-70's

Wait, you mean some people comment on threads without reading the article?

My vision of Fark has been shattered.

Hey, you all don't know what the dad is like! What if he's abusive and horrible and the system screwed up by awarding him custody? What if this poor woman is just doing the best she can and trying to help her daughter? Sure, she could just be a psycho, but there may also be legitimate issues that lead to such a strange and desperate act. Admittedly, MySpace is pretty stupid...

BTW, for those of you with reading comprehension issues:
1. She hired them to kidnap the daughter from a home
2. The kidnappers delivered the child, "unharmed", to the mother at a convenience store.

NightOwl2255: She really just paid them to grab the kid. Not so much to "kidnap" the kid.
That makes it less worse how? She still had no control over what they did between the time they "grabbed" her and handed her over.

Ah, San Antonio. My hometown. And this story pretty much sums up most of that jacked-up city.

Darwin must have been asleep behind the wheel with this broad.

You guy's don't have to live in this shait hole of a town. There are some crazy farks in these parts.
/Didn't RTFA
//Don't have to, I live here

MisterRPG: Bravo, sir!

2007-04-09 02:03:39 PM
Wow, whats maybe scarier is before I RTFA, I thought I knew who it was. The wifes friend considered hiring someone to kidnap her two year old to teach her a lesson about wandering off in the store and hiding.

DING!

Doesn't matter if they were fleeing to Mexico with the kid or just taking her for a stroll around the block.

There's no way in fark that I'd let my daughter out of my sight with two strangers.

Particularly the rot who's in the market to cruise MySpace and make a clean two hunnered and fitty bucks by playing part in a kidnapping scheme.

I once tried to sell a baby on craigslist. Some people have NO sense of humor!
