If she did not realize she hit a police officer, how did she manage to get to the website's article and post a comment on a story saying she did not know she hit anything. Quite a conundrum indeed.

She wasn't there on spring break, if you read her myspace blog she is in Florida "for a couple months" in which case she could be returning to Florida to visit family or some such nonesense.

If it had read, "Fate is charged with felony Murder and Armed Robbery," would you feel equally as stabby (assuming those were the crimes she had allegedly committed)?

I don't care about the capitalization, if that floats the author's boat. It's just not written well. Is it really that much effort to write "Fate is charged with two felonies: Leaving the Scene of an Accident With Injuries and Driving Under the Influence." But yes, the capitalization is obnoxious, but not the source of my stabbiness.
