(Philly.com)   Despite being located in the city that brought you cheesesteaks smothered in cheez whiz, gigantic hoagies, and fried scrapple, the Philadelphia Phillies want to serve vegetarian fare at ballgames. This should go over well   (nbc10.com) divider line 15

if people buy it, it will go well.

Sheesh, what is it with Philly this month?

First they get mocked by DJs in Phoenix over the population surpassing thing. Then there is the story on Curtis Jones awarding a no-bid contract for a bunch of overpriced surveillance cameras that don't event work. Now this.

Philly looser trifecta in play?

Ohh yeah, and none of the stuff listed above is unhealthy either. As long as you eat it in moderation and exercise a little.

I love Philadelphia but there's no denying it's water system shouldn't just be florinated, it should also be Colon Blowinated.

Dollar dog night, baby!

Nothing beats watching the Phils and stuffing your face full of nasty processed pork.

If Philly would take over surrounding counties like Phoenix did it would pass them in population again.

Phoenix...474.9 sq mi (1,229.9 km²)
Philadelphia...135.1 sq mi (349.9 km²)

I've had some great vegetarian meals in Philly, there is great food of any type if you look around.

In West Philadelphia born and raised
On the playground is where I spent most of my days
Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool
And all shootin' some b-ball outside of the school
When a couple of guys who were up to no good
Started makin' trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
And said you're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air

Dollar dog nights indeed rock the house. I got my tickets for the memorial day game (which is a dollar dog night)

As for vegetarian meals, eh, whatever.

Mmmm....scrapple. Love the stuff.

/Seriously - it's good stuff.
//Still glad they tore down the Vet - it was the only way they could get rid of the urine smell.

Veggie burgers are ok, they make a great sidedish to a Whopper.

Philly still got nothin' on a horseshoe.

/I'm surprised there's a wikipedia entry on the horseshoe sandwich
