Wait, Nevada is really calling California out? Seriously?

Has Ric Romero been watching The Housewives of Orange County again?

2007-03-26 11:13:17 AM
well as long as people stop moving here i'm okay with it.

Does the "Obvious" tag have today off?

2007-03-26 11:14:34 AM
Finally somebody says it out loud.

2007-03-26 11:14:43 AM
only Frisco and LA

2007-03-26 11:15:00 AM
Obvious tag was unavailable due to being stuck in traffic on the Santa Monica freeway for the past few weeks.

Don't tell Anthony Keidis...he may write another song about it.

His customers love their smokes more than their food, so the kitchen lost.

Wow - those Californians hold all the power, don't they? They even made the food in this guy's restaurant taste worse than ash and soot.

2007-03-26 11:15:56 AM
As farkers we all know that this should be "Florida" not "California."

There's a reason there's only one state with it's own tag.

2007-03-26 11:16:02 AM
God shut up you whiny West Coast biatches. Take yer penis envy somewhere else.

Exactly what I was thinking

2007-03-26 11:16:43 AM
Yes, California automatically makes everyone else act like they do! This article makes perfect sense.

2007-03-26 11:16:50 AM
So does Flori-DUH and they're still part of the Union.

2007-03-26 11:16:59 AM
Like, duh.

2007-03-26 11:17:46 AM
Got problems? Blame the Ca(lifornians)nadians

/fixed

2007-03-26 11:17:47 AM
I'm sure they don't mind all the federal tax money that flows from California.

It's funny up in Bend, Oregon. All sorts of people moved there from California. And you actually have people who are snobbish about being there longer. Like you'll have someone who moved there from California 10 years ago look down upon someone who moved from there 5 years ago...

2007-03-26 11:17:51 AM
Ugh, someone said "Frisco."

2007-03-26 11:17:59 AM
Kicked your ass.

2007-03-26 11:18:16 AM
Wow. What a bunch of farking whiners.

Cry harder, maybe you'll get your way.

2007-03-26 11:18:31 AM
Born in raised in CA, now I live in Floriduh and I can tell you first had, its Floriduh.

2007-03-26 11:18:37 AM
Are there any states that Farkers think have a positive influence on America?

2007-03-26 11:19:22 AM
Non-coastal California is freaking awesome. I don't think scenery gets much better anywhere in the world than the high Sierra.

2007-03-26 11:20:15 AM
Wait, Nevada is really calling California out? Seriously?

No kidding. Looks like CA residents are leaving so they can smoke indoors.

As a life long CA resident. It's pretty amazing that our "negative influence" keeps bringing in transplants from other states.

Lame ...

2007-03-26 11:20:18 AM
Not negative, just disproportionate. New York has the same problem.

2007-03-26 11:20:24 AM
Also, California kicks ass. How many of you other lame states could break from the union and be better off? That's what I thought.

2007-03-26 11:20:34 AM
Yeah, I heard something like this in both Nevada and Colorado back in the 90s. The general complaint was that Californians had farked up their state, and when they moved out of California and into another state to escape the mess, they immediately begin pushing for the same set of policies that had wrecked California.

/Love California, but wouldn't want to live there.

2007-03-26 11:20:37 AM
I believe it

/Californian born and raised
//sometimes VERY ashamed of that fact

2007-03-26 11:20:58 AM
// suck it rest of the country hahah

helix400

Are there any states that Farkers think have a positive influence on America?

I'm guessing New Jersey is not on the 'positive influence' list.

2007-03-26 11:21:37 AM
That's alright, a lot of people in Texas blame northerners for stuff. Then again, it's Texas. Although, it's Austin for me, so everyone pretty much smokes too much pot or works too many hours to give a crap.

2007-03-26 11:21:42 AM
Honest Bender: How many of you other lame states could break from the union and be better off?

pretty much every northeastern state...

2007-03-26 11:21:48 AM
As long as she's got fake titties and a buttload of money, she can move in next door to me anytime.

2007-03-26 11:21:49 AM
Lets amend that feeling of intense dislike to stereotypical Californians, that is, Bay Area/LA/Coasties who are snobby rich douches. Not neccesarily northern/rural Californians

/and yes, helix400, I think several states have a positive influence
//minnesooota

2007-03-26 11:21:55 AM
fark you.

I am strongly of the opinion that California whould be allowed its own nationhood, though. I mean, our economy's big enough, our population is big enough, and for the love of christ, I'm sick of dipshiat senators from Oklahoma pretending to understand our immigration problems.

2007-03-26 11:21:57 AM
Damn them edumacated libruls. Them is the reason I can't get a jarb. Them and the Mexicans.

2007-03-26 11:22:19 AM
I blame Vermont.

helix400: Are there any states that Farkers think have a positive influence on America?

Montana keeps the sky from falling onto the earth and crushing us all.

/John Hodgeman is a positive influence.

2007-03-26 11:22:28 AM
Welcome to California, now go home (and take all of our crazy liberal politics and philosophies with you.)

helix400: Are there any states that Farkers think have a positive influence on America?

Indiana... because when you travel through here you realize just how much better your life is.

Indiana... we're like a live version of the Jerry Springer Show!

bunny_of_chaos: I'm guessing New Jersey is not on the 'positive influence' list.

I vote Jersey be put on said list.

2007-03-26 11:23:26 AM
Are there any states that Farkers think have a positive influence on America?

South Dakota seems to mind it's own business and stay off other people's lawns. Then again, there's only like 8 people there.

2007-03-26 11:23:31 AM
There's a running joke in our company (well, more of a fact) about how incompetent Californians are. I say Obvious tag would have been dead on.

2007-03-26 11:24:13 AM
I vote for succession from the union, we'll take our computers and movies and music, and year round growing season, and 6th largest economy in the world, and the rest of you can get stuffed.

Though, I don't agree with the nazi-esque smoking bans, there should be places where it's banned and places where it's allowed. That really doesn't seem all that unreasonable to me. Smokers making their food taste like soot and ash doesn't matter since their taste buds are farked anyways.
Just put a big sign on the door so that those of us who don't wish to be killed by corporations while paying for it can avoid the place.

2007-03-26 11:24:22 AM
Montana keeps the sky from falling onto the earth and crushing us all.

It also is a buffer zone to keep teh Canadians out!

Ahh. a Fontana resident.

2007-03-26 11:24:31 AM
Californians - Indianapolis welcomes you -please come and buy houses and inflate our home prices, which are weak right now, so I can sell my house for a large profit and move out of this wonderful place - while you are at it - please do your best to turn this state blue too and maybe I will not be so quick to move.

Thanks, please enjoy your stay.

2007-03-26 11:24:44 AM
Damn, now I can't just blame Delaware for everything.

/god damn toll roads.

2007-03-26 11:24:55 AM
living in WA for a little over 15 yrs, i've seen the negative effects of californication everywhere. californians hate california, too, though, and are migrating north in record numbers. like just because said: "someone finally said it out loud."

i now live on the east coast, and floridians are in the same category. if you have a cali or florida plate on your car, be ready to get cut off on the road.

dispicable is the right word for these shallow, callous folks that ooze out of their state and move in where they are not wanted.

/rant over
