Lost? I still have a lot of unanswered questions from My Mother, The Car.

Some people watch too much teevee for anyone's good.

The last 3 episodes have been pretty good.

They've been spectacular. I'm positively giddy for next week.

The Lostpedia site is an excellent resource for show information. I've read most of it over the course of the last year.

And I agree - the last three episodes have been outstanding. The show is really on a roll.

Ever since they came back from that long ass hiatus they've been awesome. Which is good because they've sucked my ass hair for about 18 months prior to that.

Christ almighty, that's a page created by some people picking some serious nits.

My response to that page:

Why did Balki wait so long to leave Mypos?

How distant of a cousin was Larry to Balki?

If the national debt of Mypos was only $635, how did Balki get the money to travel to America?

The first two episodes of the season were good.
The ones between that and the hiatus were mediocre.
The first once since the hiatus was good.
The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th since the hiatus were mediocre.
The last 3 have been great.

You didn't like "Flashes Before Your Eyes?" That one made my Top 5

It was good on its own, but I was annoyed at the interruption of the storyline that has been pursued for most of the rest of the season.

Yeah, but, like, that's just your opinion, man. :)

I've liked everything since we came back from hiatus. Everything before the hiatus, and almost ALL of season two were just terrible.

I just went back to Lostpedia and looked. You didn't like The Hurley episode? It was so lighthearted, like when X-Files would do a goofy light-hearted one. The show can't always be guns and punching and Locke blowing things up unnecessarily.

Many of these questions are silly or the answer is obvious.

Wouldn't it be easier to make a list of answered question from "Lost"?

Thanks to the DUI twins, I'll probably never figure out wtf is up with Libby, which has been the one that's been nagging at me since she showed up in the hospital.

In some ways I thought the last episode was great... and some ways I hated it. All it 'really' did was bring up MORE questions.

I have a feeling though that the one of the 'original' predictions may come true. Locke's father and the 'real' Sawyer are the same person.

If they can answer even HALF of those questions, I promise I'll watch every episode of Lost. Until then, BSG4ME!

at least we found out how Locke ended up in the wheelchair.

and the one that nobody ever asked...the Jack and Claire siblings thing. That was a big WTF.

That about sums up the answered questions.

They've redeemed themselves with the last couple episodes. I'm thinking the Others don't know a hell of a lot more about the island than the lostaways.

spleef420: and the one that nobody ever asked...the Jack and Claire siblings thing. That was a big WTF.

Nobody asked because lots of people took it as given after the episode "Two for the Road." Jack's father showed up drunk at the house of a blonde Australian lady (probably Claire's aunt, though she was hard to see in the rain), and demanded to see his daughter.

I think that the easiest question to answer is this one about Clair.

Why was she leaving Australia?

Answer: She was traveling to LA to give birth to her child so she could give it to his adoptive parents. I was pretty much answered in the episode were we found her father is also Jack's father. I think that better question is that are Jack and Clair half brother and sister?

I'd like to take a moment and speak directly to the writers of Lost.

Fark you farking assholes for killing off Libby, I hope you all farking die in a farking fire.

Thank you for your time.

Here's a question; why is this crap still on the air?

2007-03-23 11:18:55 PM
its cool how the island has its own replicator now. pretty soon I expect a transporter and then Captain Picard and Worf will beam in to play robin hood...

Some of these are bogus -

Hurley - What exactly happened in the accident that killed those people? ("Dave") - The senator from X-Men said that the deck they were standing on collapsed.

Locke - Why did Locke initially lie about what happened to Boone? ("Deus Ex Machina") - To cover his own ass. Why is this an "unanswered question"?

Locke - Since Locke knew himself to be the one who attacked Sayid and destroyed the transceiver, why did he suggest Sawyer did it, then handed Sayid a large dagger with which to *kill* Sawyer? ("Confidence Man") - To cover his ass.

Sun - Who really broke the glass ballerina? ("The Glass Ballerina") - Sun did, good lord, who comes up with these?

Others - Since their designated spy Ethan Rom was killed, how have they been able to learn things about the castaways such as Sawyer's real name? - Because they obviously have a way to communicate off the island and can probably look for current events.

What did the fail-safe do to the station? - Imploded it.

Why is there an armory? What are they supposed to be protected from? - The hostiles

Why do the Numbers have to be entered manually and not automatically? - Dead man's switch.

Who was the man on the monitor? - Mikhail...

How did the polar bears get from the Hydra Island to the main island? - They swam, or someone took them there. Who cares?

I know its a wiki and all, but damn. Terrible.

In regards to the last episode, it was painfully obvious when Ben said to get the man from Tallahasse that it was Locke's father. So damned disappointing, too. Just more questions without answers.

This show is rapidly coming to an Eva point; where it's pissing me off enough that I'm going to watch every part of the show just so I can give an informed critique of the show as to why I hate it, what I hate about it, where it's gone wrong, and why I'm mad that it's exploiting my weakness by driving me nuts.
