Congrats. Hope your health keeps up. Just had a gentleman at work pass away quite recently from an extremely aggressive brain cancer. He had surgery three times over three years to remove tumors. Finally, the last time he just said enough was enough. His wife is putting on a such a brave face, but I can tell she's devastated. They were married for like 30 years. I can't imagine the rift in her life she's trying to fill.

*raises glass* Here's to you, Bill! We miss you!

No kiddding. Hope you feel good about yourself, subby, for beating up on that other cancer patient.

Kung Fu is good and all, but don't do that whole walking from town to town, meeting people, getting in adventures, because without a job, a residence, and legal tender, you'll be a bum.

2007-03-04 02:32:32 PM
Ya, but what have you done lately? =P

Yes, but eventually he'll be doing commercials for online phone books.

So he's got that going for him, which is nice.

Way to fly, dude.

When the Okinawans imported karate from China, they took the Shaolin Ryu and called it "Shoryn-Ryu", because they can't pronounce L.

"Shao Lin" means "Little Forest" in Chinese, and I studied the Matsu-Byashi-Ryu style, which means the "Pine Forest Way."

I recommend a youtube search on Shoshin Nagamini, matsubyashi-ryu and especially "fukyugata ichi".

I'm a pretty miserable, unhappy person. If I had a brain tumor, I would be happy that I had a way to die without burdening my family with the pain of my suicide.

That bit of maudlinism aside, I am very impressed by your courage and resolve in fighting your disease and coming out strong.

Yeah, I imagine having you die from a painful disease would be a pretty rockin' party.

Touche! Morphine makes me hurl though. :( That stuff they give you before the anesthesia on the other hand...

Nice login by the way. That's one of my all-time favorite shows.
