Brokeback Mountain was a horrible horrible movie. Extremely overrated. I couldn't understand what the hell Heath Ledger's character was mumbling at any point during the movie.

Check it out ASAP. It's out on DVD. It's one of the least gay things on the planet. And the best cast a TV-miniseries has ever seen: Tommy Lee Jones, Robert Duvall, Danny Glover, Chris Cooper, Diane Lane, Anjelica Huston, Robert Urich, D.B.Sweeney, Frederic Forrest. Hell, even Ricky Schoeder was able to make us forget all about Silver Spoons with his performance in this show.

And here I was hoping they meant the writer of the short story, Annie Proulx. I have her other major work, the complete guide to making homemade cider. I was kind of wondering how they'd do a show about homebrewing, but I would watch.

Good mini series, but the book was way better. I highly recommend it.
