Run for the hills!

Seriously. Do not vote for this evil. We've had enough suffering under GWB.

2007-02-18 06:10:41 AM
I remember once saying, "no way can GWB be REelected," so I'm not counting HC out by a long shot.

the map. John Kerry won 252 electoral votes from 20 states in 2004, and 60 more votes in Ohio would have put him above the winning 270-vote threshold.

that's odd, everything i can find has that figure off by 110k+. i'm a fence riding libertarian living in the land of libs and i can't find anyone who would vote for her.

Feh.

Hillary's suffering from some biatch-mongering, that same ruse that beats down any tough, driven woman.

In the end, I think she can be a very good president, and she's definitely got more cred than Obama.

I have an interesting anecdote... I was at the bar last week, and started chatting with a gentleman who was former special forces.

He said he'd vote for Hillary in a flat minute.

He pointed out that he'd been in the military for 10 years and been in Kosovo on down through Iraq (he'd only been out for 6 months), and said that the best raises and overall best treatment he'd gotten in the service was under Bill Clinton.

Another older ex-military fellow overheard this, and said that he'd vote for Hillary, too.

They both said they may not like Hillary per se, but that they respect her intelligence and balls, far more than they respect the current Keystone Kops administration.

This isn't even the first time I've heard this from ex-military, either.

HomerButt - A member of my family, life long republican, retired USAF has said exactly the same things to me. He's not happy about it, but he's in the same place.

2007-02-18 07:04:17 AM
I'd vote for her.

Personally, I think neither Obama or Hillary will win. They are under so much pressure, any mistake is going to escalate into a blown-out-of-proportion media field day, which is going to hurt both of them. Plus, I don't really want another family member in the White House.

2007-02-18 07:10:23 AM
The Bush-voting women in my office are crazy about Hillary, as opposed to the men, who are made crazy by her. Every woman who's ever dealt with a lying, cheating man who humiliated her in front of everybody is going to take it out on the Republican candidate...if it's a man.

And like how Gore got the whole Clinton-fatigue thing hung on him, add an upopular war and watch how Bush drags down the Republi nominee.

2007-02-18 07:22:42 AM
Read her book... loved her. She got elected to Senate and I started to doubt my original mindset. However, I personally think she's the best thing going from whom we have to choose. I'd like a return to times when the most we had to get up in arms about was some infidelity... but that's a bit idealistic. ;)

2007-02-18 07:41:49 AM
Of course she can win. She'll win if the people who control the voting machines say she won.

2007-02-18 07:57:23 AM

Because she is a biatchy, ambitious, tax raising, power-mad, carpetbagging, America-hating Communist.

Sheesh...haven't you been paying attention?

Because she is a biatchy, ambitious, tax raising, power-mad, carpetbagging, America-hating Communist.

Thats why I like her.

2007-02-18 08:48:13 AM
Shes smart, shes ambitious, shes in favor of programs that might do a lot of good -- and will further break the already very broken bank. I foresee huge tax increases if shes elected.

The one thing I would love to ask her: how the fark do you go from being a goldwater supporter to THIS?

2007-02-18 08:51:09 AM
I think that SpeshilEdjukashin's picture has words in it but I can't seem to focus on the upper half of the picture.

So true.

And McKainiac is an Amnesty supporting loontytoon.

And Rudy is a Big Government gun control supporter.

And Newt can't win.

Not much on the menu that suits my taste.

I don't like her per se, but she couldn't do any worse than the current jackass-in-chief...

Someone needs to explain in small words what "Communism" is to r-u-n-n o-f-t.

2007-02-18 09:10:44 AM
Article makes a good point: Hillary will not be swift-boated easily. If you saw "The War Room" you'll know the Clintons had a team that was quite adept at almost immediately blowing back crap onto whoever threw it at them in '92 & '96. No hesitation to respond like with Kerry...

2007-02-18 09:13:35 AM
We're sorry about the current "Politician" you have purchased. There are known issues about this model being defective. However, we have no plans at this time to issue a recall.

2007-02-18 09:15:40 AM
she has:

the money - check
the debts owed her by party bigwigs - check
the political skill - check
the experience - check
the sheer iron will that will not be denied - check

i'm assuming she wins. we're probably putting up mccain, and he'll be weak. maybe we have a shot with giuliani

2007-02-18 09:18:39 AM
Interesting article. However:

"...isn't it safe to assume..."

It is never safe to assume.

I think she would be great for America.

She may have "the stuff", but speaking as a run of the mill Democrat, I won't vote for her.

You gotta be insane to put this low level crack whore in charge of are entire military armed forces..

/ You demicraps are gonna get us all killed..

She didn't 'tie' with Rudy, she was 5 points lower. She tied with McCain, and has the highest negative rating. Sheesh.

It's cute to see that after all these years right-wingnuts still have such a boner for Hillary. It really is.

2007-02-18 09:30:14 AM
The first female President will be someone we can all rally around liberals and democrats, as well as, the braindead retards and morans on the other side of the political spectrum.

Hillary ain't it.

Hell!...George W is the first homo koksucker, who had a male prostitute running amok in the White House. So let's slow down with anymore "firsts" for a bit.

2007-02-18 09:31:17 AM
All this OMG what if Hillary were president is a little silly. I don't want her to be, I probably wouldn't vote for her, but I ain't scared. At this point, nobody can scare me. Suppose we elected the worst president possible, arrogant, and stupid with no respect for his office, th institutions of government, or even the American people. Now quit supposing, 'cause that's who we elected. Twice. Well, arguably.

Do your worst, America, you can't scare me.

2007-02-18 09:32:54 AM
I don't know what it is, but she scares me. I think she has the ability to consume souls.

2007-02-18 09:33:24 AM
I'll show you politics in America. Here it is, right here. "I think the puppet on the right shares my beliefs." "I think the puppet on the left is more to my liking." "Hey, wait a minute, there's one guy holding out both puppets!"
- B. Hicks

outback_rebel: I think she has the ability to consume souls

No, no. That's an asset.

;)

2007-02-18 09:33:36 AM
As an aside I can't believe that Giuliani is the top GOP candidate. If he does get the nod there should be someone at each and every Giuliani press conference to ask Rudi about Patrick Dorismond and why the former mayor thought it would be a good idea to actually go to the press with no purpose other than to smear the name of a man who had been shot by police.

Rudi's a fascist in the dictionary sense of the word.

Yeah, you'd think they'd say, "Hey, guys, we were really mean to her while her husband was in office. I say we give her a pass while she runs for President."

2007-02-18 09:35:11 AM
we_hates: Suppose we elected the worst president possible, arrogant, and stupid with no respect for his office, th institutions of government, or even the American people. Now quit supposing, 'cause that's who we elected. Twice. Well, arguably.

According to my macro teacher, Dubya is the best president we could have hoped for. He seems to believe that since we haven't had another 9/11 like attack, Bush must be doing something right.

2007-02-18 09:35:46 AM
If you guys want to label Hillary as a communist, that's fine by me as long as it makes it so she doesn't win. I can think of a few more accurate labels though, like, say: zionist, corporatist, monopolist,...etc.

She's the worst. Elect Barack. Please.

2007-02-18 09:35:54 AM
Twenty years is enough. We need to move away from these two families.

Besides, HC is completely unqualified for the job.

2007-02-18 09:36:25 AM
For introducing the Family Entertainment Protection Act (pops), another useless law that try to regulate a form of speech that has been ruled protected under the Constitution (also pops), Hillary will never have my vote.

2007-02-18 09:37:13 AM
I don't know anything about her, I've asked why she's so hated but get no concrete reply, just emotional rants, "She's ambitious" "A creature of politics." "No real passion on issues or demands".

Anyone that the Republicans hate that much I like the sound of.
After inflicting W on the world (twice!) they deserve it.
Hope she brings socialised medicine the the US so you join the rest of the industrialised world

One day you guys will grow some balls and admit you don't like her simply because she's a powerful woman,, and that scares yer little selves.

2007-02-18 09:38:40 AM
I am an 'anti-idiot' in terms of dem/rep. "Who is the lesser fool this time around?" (yeah, last time Kerry WAS the bigger fool)

I'd like to see a democrat to win this time, simply for the pleasure of watching a whole bunch of heads explode, when the exact same farkedupness comes out of the white house as does with the current president. But they won't be able to blame Chimpy.
