Was the "Hero" tag snowed in?

Wow. I thought the "Wife still complains" part was a joke. I was severely mistaken.

FTA: "I want him to get some exercise," she said. "He's always controlling everything by remote."

/she's probably right though; this guy is most likely a huge waddling bag a mayonnaise.

It sounds like she could use a good plowin'

You know, the last time the cream corn thingy was brought up, I was stupid enough to GIS that and some other unmentionables. There is not enough bleach for my eyes or soul.

Sometimes I think it would be nice to get married. Then I think about spending my free time with a nagging shrew.

I shall lead a loveless life.

The wife should down the Bon Bons, get p off her fat ass and get her husband a beer.

Lauver tosses around ideas for some other projects, possibly a remote-control lawn mower or snowblower, but he had little encouragement from his wife.

"I want him to get some exercise," she said. "He's always controlling everything by remote."

Wait until she sees what he built for their wedding anniversary.

2007-02-16 10:24:56 AM
I was gonna say, she sounds like she could use 6 to 8 inches of plowing.

Even if he had the body of a greek god and ran marathons every weekend, his wife would still nag him. That's what wives do.

People drop dead of heart attacks shoveling snow. Sounds like the wife just wants to get rid of him. If that thing ever ends up on Ebay, I'll bid on it. WTF wants to go outside to plow/shovel when they can do it from the warm indoors?

Maybe the plow should 'accidently' shove the wife to the curb.

agreed, that last line caught me by surprise and had me LOL.

I hate shoveling snow, which i do a lot here in MT, but since i'm not the jogging or gym type, it's the best exercise i get in the winter months. well, that and skiing of course. :D

If you read the article, I think you'll see that his wife isn't complaining about the snow plowing..

It's because he does EVERYTHING by remote control..

EVERYTHING....

I'm sure it was kinky the first time but...

He didn't. He put a radio control on a golf cart.

She's a small wonder, pretty and bright with soft curls.
She's a small wonder, a girl unlike unlike other girls.
She's a miracle, and I grant you she'll enchant you at her sight.
She's a small wonder, and she'll make your heart take flight.
She's fantastic, made of plastic, microchips here and there.
She's a small wonder, brings love and laughter everywhere.

With a wife like that, there's a snowblower/snowman joke here somewhere, I just don't think I'll go look for it just now.

Maybe he should sell them as a sideline. It'll get him away from the shrew & give him money for beer or money to upgrade the wife.

2007-02-16 10:49:00 AM
One of these would probably be more effective. All it needs is a strap-on plow.

Yay - SNOW-BOT!

Hey, this is NOT something you want to do alone - still up there in the top 10 for triggering heart attacks and muscular/back injuries, IMHO snow shoveling is how Satan keeps hell full.

Of husbands who have had enough of their wife's nagging.

I think anything that does labor for a human is considered a robot. It can be remote controlled, it doesn't have to contain it's own intelligence.

By that definition, wouldn't a kitchen dishwasher be considered a robot? you program it to tell it what you want it to do, then walk away and it rinses, washes, rinses, and drys the load.

2007-02-16 11:12:41 AM
"I think anything that does labor for a human is considered a robot. It can be remote controlled, it doesn't have to contain it's own intelligence."

So by this logic the folowing are all robots:
A Pully
A Leaver
A Horse
A Typewriter
A Truck

I am going to have to call this golf cart a machine, now set the RC remote up to a computer that uses GPS or motor encoderds to track location, and develop a automation seaquence, Now you got a robot.

this is almost as annoying as that show "Battle Bots" that was realy just Mad Max inspried RC Cars.

I'm pretty sure the qualifier for a robot is automation... plus artificial intelligence is still science fiction, since robots still function under programming.
