Having read the article, I'm forced to conclude that the widow is cursed and recommend cleansing with fire.

The first time not having worked, it would seem.

RIP Brian.

The dead sperm guy lurked here?! I've heard about this before, or something like it. Thought it was kind of creepy, although it is an interesting idea.

Continue to RIP.

In our leader's honor, I'm sure.

fb- is the father.

2007-02-12 03:47:23 PM
not a bastard, his parents were married, although one of them is dead now, it would be no different then your husand dying the month before you gave birth. The child would still be considered a child of the marriage.

RIP Brian. Welcome to the world, baby boy.

How do we really know that this guy's a lurker, anyway? I could claim that just about anybody is a lurker.

jasonmicron: Both are correct, though yours is a bit harsh even for Fark, don't you think?

Probably, but harshness doesn't change fact.

Sorry the guy was killed before Bush's Reign of Error could be stopped. :-(

Liar!

He's my roommate, and quite alive. I had to stop by his desk to check.

You're doing a heckuva job Dubya!

In a ceremony July 10, Brian Smith's body was cremated along with a bottle of his favorite condiment - Dave's Insanity Hot Sauce - and a copy of a fantasy novel, Someplace to Be Flying. The ashes were buried in Smith's hometown of McKinney.

Sad, a Charles De Lint fan.

He's in Newford now, we can hope.

2007-02-12 04:25:42 PM
face hair on a baby?

2007-02-12 04:25:48 PM
That's sad and happy at the same time.

Its a tragedy that he was killed. Yet, his wife was able to have a piece of him live on and was able to have a child that, no doubt, they both wanted.

I was in Habaniyah for a time, scary place :(

RIP Brian, and good luck to your child.

Submitter and proud godfather here.

Brian Smith was a first class guy, my best man and my best friend for 13 years. He loved Fark.com, especially the photoshop contests. He turned me onto it after the infamous "pickle incident".

staroftexasinn.com

The name "Phil McKraken" came from our many hours playing Mechwarrior 4 online. We were the only "openly gay clan" to play online. He was "Mangina", and together we formed the Rainbow Warriors. Of course, we weren't gay, but there's nothing wrong with that.

Rest In Pieces, brother. See you in Hell.

You're either a troll or an idiot ... perhaps both.

/RIP Brian

Hey, this is sad for all. He signed up in the early days, probably blinded with false patriotism and desire for vengeance. Naive, yes, but maybe he didn't know what he was signing up for. Therefore, we must forgive him and grant sympathy towards both him and his child.

That's really farkin' low to call his son a bastard.

2007-02-12 04:27:55 PM
Aw, he and his wife met in SCA while meeting to watch ST:TNG. So in a way, wil is kinda like fb- in this particular thread.

/Thinks it's sweet, even if a bit creepy.
