He does have the movie Road Hogs coming out next month with John Travolta, Martin Lawrence and William H Macy too.

He has actually kept very busy.

A friend of mine worked on some of the tie-ins for Toy Story with Tropicana OJ and said Tim Allen was the biggest prick he'd ever had to work with.

If I were writing the script, I'd have it be about the toys trying to find a new owner after Andy and Molly leave for college or something. Yeah, I know it's the same plot as North, but at least it's a logical progression from the last film.

Toy Story - Joss Whedon + Little Miss Sunshine = crap

Was there a mention of this being direct-to-DVD?

No Jim Varney = No more "Toy Story" movies

RIP Ernest

Well, he is Tim Dick.

Unfortunately, this means that Randy Newman will once again be paid to make my ears bleed

The tagline should *still* be "Get your Woody and your Buzz on one more time!"

/repeat story, therefore repeat comment

At least he's not doing another Santa movie.

I fondly remember giving my son his first Woody when he was 5. And my daughter got her first Buzz when she was only 3. good times.

Watch what you say, they may call child protective services on you for that.

More importantly, they need to bring back Don Rickles as Mr. Potato Head.

/Saw Don perform in Vegas back in '98.
//Good times!

Tim Allen and the "cool" tag are completely incongruent. Even when Toy Story is involved.

2007-02-12 05:44:36 PM
Might be good, but where's my Galaxy Quest 2?

2007-02-12 06:01:11 PM
OMG, he might actually end up in a good movie since the last toy story!

Toy story 2 > Toy Story 1 (Both awesome though)

This will be no different I assume.

Actually a more important question will be: Will Tom Hanks be back? (Any everyone else except dead Varney, of course)?

Oh you bastard smitty. The entire article says naught about Tim Allen.

It looks like a garbage disposal.

Wow. I'd say this shows Disney/Pixar have zero faith in "Ratatouille" this summer (and with a fabulous title like that, how could they not?). When a movie about scummy looking rats with what most of America will perceive as an unpronounceable title fails in the Summer Of All Sequels, they'll need Woody and Buzz to save the animation divison...at least the biggest movie of the year is a Disney release too.

Pixar could make a movie about walking, talking pieces of fecal matter, and people would crowd the theaters to go see it. Whats more, it would actually be well-written, voice-acted, and funny.

Submitter will get a greenlight again as Pixar announces "Toy Story 3" to be released in 2009....and again... was an abc link that now expired... and wasn't this just greenlit a day or two ago?

Who ever told Randy Newman he could sing?

Dammit, how dare they make a Toy Story 3 before an Incredibles sequel?
