Leilani Rios. Not safe for work.
2001-07-02 12:54:13 AM
What's the big deal? So what she posed naked for a magazine. The only stipulation I would make is that she would have to run naked.
2001-07-02 12:56:34 AM
GOOD GOD, man... let the poor girl run... for heaven's sake...

HBO's Real Sports did a piece on her this week. They had some nice video of her doing her job. She will also be in next month's Playboy.
Getting kicked off the team is providing her with 15 minutes of fame and letting us see some boobies.

What I find ironic here is that she was kick of for violateing the "Athlete's Code of Conduct," requiring that CSUF athletes are to "give everyone who sees them a positive image of Titan student-athletes."

I tend to think that everyone that has seen her naked in the dance club all thought she was projecting a positive image. What is more positive than a young naked babe?

Sweet! Track star skank!
2001-07-02 02:34:58 AM
I wonder if her track events have something to do with a pole...
2001-07-02 03:16:50 AM

Thanks dude. That chick is farkin hot~!
2001-07-02 03:52:14 AM
? pubic hair = wind resistance....nice bod but her face is kinda doggy ...can't run from ugly....
2001-07-02 04:23:01 AM
I don't think I ever looked at her face. Plagarized from Eightball Magazine:

". Civilized man has nothing that is more essential to sustaining his mental health than his pornography."
2001-07-02 04:25:42 AM
her face isn't much to look at. not my type, at least. got a runner's ass, though.
2001-07-02 09:56:46 AM
Bah, the last one was a lot hotter...
2001-07-02 10:09:26 AM
Yeah, I saw that HBO piece. What gets me is that the track coach made the decision on his own, based on his religious beliefs. Later on, the school tried to use the "Code of Conduct" excuse. Too late...that dumb-ass fundie coach just tore down the church/state wall.

And you just know that if it had been a male runner who was a Chippendale's dancer, everyone would have winked, chuckled, and turned the other way.
2001-07-02 10:23:39 AM
That track coach is a worthless piece of shiat. Just watch that HBO piece.
2001-07-02 10:32:37 AM
I wonder if she runs faster since she removed her pubes.

I read about this a little while ago. What gets my goat about it, besides all the beurocratic, pseudo-moralistic crap that they're putting this girl through, is that the reason she was busted for it in the first place is that some members of the school's baseball team were patronizing the club. They were IN UNIFORM.

The stripper was not in uniform (obviously) and was not identifying herself in any way with the school. She was removed from her team, while the men from the baseball team were not disciplined in any way.

I believe the rule that the school cited in its dismissal of Ms. Rios was something to the effect of she wasn't "presenting the school in a positive light in the community." By disciplining her and not the men from the baseball team, they're saying that it's not OK for a woman to strip for money, but it is OK for men to pay to watch her.

I wonder what her times were in track and Cross Country. I want to know if I could beat her, or if she would beat me. Hehe. Beat me...

The next time someone says modeling or acting is hard work I'm gonna off them.
2001-07-02 12:01:53 PM
Oh for the love of GOD won't somebody think of the STRIPPERS !
2001-07-02 12:33:14 PM
She won the stripper lottery.
2001-07-02 12:35:49 PM
She's also apparantly married.

I love the school's comment that they couldn't prove if the baseball team was at the strip bar. Well, someone from the school was. A teacher/coach may have some responsibility for this, and would probably need to admit to it.

Are ya wonderin' about all this flip-floppin' about and thinkin' maybe this girl should suit up like a randy squash player?

Call me for your free readin' now!

This is just rediculous. In the HBO report her husband said he didn't have a problem with it, and she didn't have a problem with it. If she were wearing her CSF uniform or a cheerleader outfit this would certainly be different.

Her lawyer couldn't contain her excitement. Imagine the settlement they could have milked from the school.

I think it is funny that all the folks in the Young Republicans at my school can't get enough of the strip clubs. Maybe I should suggest we have dip into the coffers for a trip to the Gold Club.
2001-07-02 03:36:44 PM
Is it just me or does her beaver look invisible?
2001-07-02 05:30:45 PM
Hmmm. She should at least have left a thin strip instead of shaving/waxing it all off. Sort of like a landing strip.
2001-07-02 06:12:44 PM
Beppo it is not just you I think she was shaved in PhotoShop
2001-07-02 06:19:02 PM
I was just wondering if this is really the girl in question. While she is certainly well toned her legs do not look near muscular enough for a track athlete. Think about what the women in the olympics look like. The girl in these pictures may be a runner but she is certainly no serious competitor
2001-07-02 06:44:27 PM
AlaJoe, that is her. I saw the HBO thing and can confirm that. In the article it says that she finished 60th of 80 in her last meet.

Another thing in that article is the mention of juice bars. I know we have those in some of the more conservative cities, but doesn't that seem silly. There are always the dirty BYOB places. Those women are freaks.

When I see naked women I must smoke.
2001-07-02 06:46:17 PM
That IS the girl in question.

Nobody says she was a world class athlete. She goes to CS-Fullerton afterall...

Here I am!

Hi Mme.Mersault
2001-07-02 06:49:57 PM
Personally I have no problem with the school kicking her off the track team for being a stripper. But I say they can only do this so as long as they kick off every football, baseball and basketball player who sells drugs, rapes their girlfreinds, beats up innocent people, vandilizes private property, takes expensive gifts from alumni, or, of course, goes to strip clubs wearing their school uniforms.

I have no problems with morality in athletics, but this sexist bullcrap has to go. Until teams start kicking off star male players for doing things far worse, this chick should be allowed to do whatever the heck she wants.
2001-07-02 11:58:39 PM
RampantApathy: Yeah, for some reason you can't serve alcohol in a full nude strip club in Orange County. You can serve beer in one that's just topless, though. Apparently beer + boobies = okay, but booze and bush don't mix (as Jenna and Barbara can verify).

And smoking is verboten pretty much anywhere in Nazifornia.
