This, undoubtably the most dissapointing episode of Sesame Street, was brought to you by the letter A and the number one.

A-ha-ha-ha! One beer! (awkward silence)

What are you laughing at? That's not funny. (Trampled by Snuffleupegus)

It's ideas like this that are helping these little airlines eat AA and Delta's lunch. You're lucky if you get a pack of peanuts angrily thrown at you when flying AA.

Horizon Air always gives away free beer.

Subby and Drew,
Sitting in a tree,
d-r-i-n-k-i-n-g.
First came beer,
Then came wine,
Then came the green light on a useless headline.

Even though the beer is free, the stewardess will probably cut you off after 2 or 3.

Back in '04 I was flying down to Vegas for a bachelor party, and I had a first-class upgrade on America West. As soon as I'm in my seat, the stewardess took my drink order...and since it was 8AM, she looked puzzled when I ordered a beer.

Anyhow, after drinking 3 or 4 beers, I ordered a Scotch, and she told me that it would be my last alcoholic drink on the flight. She was very nice about the whole thing......told me that I was very polite and quiet (just enjoying my buzz and reading the sports page), but they had to consider liability issues, and they're only supposed to serve a person 1 alcoholic beverage per hour. (That really sucks, considering the flight from Seattle to Vegas is only 2 hours.)

I love JetBlue. Specifically, the early afternoon flight on Friday from JFK to Vegas.

BTW, the owner of Jet Blue, David Neeleman, is a Mormon. So I found the news interesting.

Mormons don't drink, but loads of us could care less if you do or not (despite what critics of Utah liquor laws would have you think). Just as long as you don't kill me or someone I love driving drunk (or anyone elsefor that matter), have fun! And I think that sentiment is shared by almost everyone.

Sorry to bring religion into it, just thought it was interesting. You always here when religious-types are thrusting religion on others, but not when they are cool about things like this guy (or at least his company) is being.

\\if you want a flamewar about Mormons have fun, I'm going home now

stiletto_the_wise: It's ideas like this that are helping these little airlines eat AA and Delta's lunch.

I hate both of those carriers, and United as well.

Continental is not too bad, but they used to be better.

Asian airlines are the best. Once you fly Cathay, Thai or Singapore Air...or even China Eastern for that matter, you will not want to fly an American major again.

"JetBlue will offer a single drink free to passengers over 21 with proof of identification."

A single drink???

I might be making a few trips between Burbank and LAX.

I predict this will go well, no possible problems!
