2007-01-18 09:20:53 AM
nice

2007-01-18 09:21:44 AM
Then why oh why do you keep threatening more war, Condi?

2007-01-18 09:28:44 AM
And later she was seen sporting a shirt that says, "I reject your reality and substitute my own."

For unknown reasons, Adam Savage has become very popular at the White House.

Skleenar: Then why oh why do you keep threatening more war, Condi?

Maybe she's just trying to help the people that believe that death s the path to Paradise get there quicker. She should be hailed as a hero by militant muslims everywhere.

submitter: Condoleezza Rice: "Hole of Mideast wants peace after Israel is dead...and pigs fly."

They mispelled a word, and cut the quote short in the article. I fixed it above. Damn MSM can't even quote her right.

Here's the problem:

One version of peace (the kind we live in): "Nobody shooting each other, kidnapping people, decapitating people, or setting off car bombs, etc. for any reason whatsoever."

The other version of peace (the kind too many people over there believe in): "What you get after we kill or drive away everyone who is not one of us."

MasterThief: The other version of peace (the kind too many people over there believe in): "What you get after we kill or drive away everyone who is not one of us."

But I thought we were liberating the Iraqis so they could live in peace and freedom, and thus set an example for the entire Middle East.

Are you saying that this wasn't such a good idea, after all?

2007-01-18 11:52:18 AM
I think most people in that region want to live their lifes in peace without a big fuss, but extremists on every side has taken control of the situation.

2007-01-18 11:52:22 AM
Piece, not peace.

HTH.

2007-01-18 11:52:27 AM
great headline

2007-01-18 11:52:51 AM
Heh, for once, I am highly amused by you. DIA Nice one.

2007-01-18 11:53:05 AM
yeah...i agree..most people want peace..its allu p to a few fartards that they are truly afriad of that cuase grief for everybody.

2007-01-18 11:53:25 AM
Rice should be worried that the storm she and her neo-con friends have whipped-up is going to rip through her own house.

2007-01-18 11:54:16 AM
She followed up with "My boyfriend, the prince of wales, got me this dimond ring, and this tiara, and this golden septer" and finished it up with a dilusional laugh and a vacant stare of insanity.

/not going to let you guess the reference, its MEG from family guy.

U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice (R) testifies before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Capitol Hill in Washington, January 11, 2007

2007-01-18 11:56:25 AM
So... that quote is accurate? She was talking about the Middle-East? I mean, the one on Earth?

\I don't think so, Tim.

2007-01-18 11:56:51 AM
No, Rush is right, Middle Eastern people and Muslims love fighting and killing babies and having their relatives killed. It's like a trip to six flags for them. Uh huh

2007-01-18 11:57:08 AM
That's why the Wall Street Journal says this morning that Iraqis are killing U.S. interpreters.

Great headline Smitty.

2007-01-18 11:58:28 AM
No, it's true.

They just want peace as long as their opposing religious sect is wiped off the planet.

2007-01-18 11:59:10 AM
Hey, in case nobody mentioned it: AWESOME HEADLINE!

2007-01-18 11:59:49 AM
all except those damn people that have been fighting with eachother for 5000 years

2007-01-18 12:00:23 PM
Haha! Fantastic headline!

2007-01-18 12:00:28 PM
Captain Obvious: They just want peace as long as their opposing religious sect is wiped off the planet.

What's your solution?

2007-01-18 12:01:14 PM
I can't believe you people. What's with all this distrust about our government?
Our President Bush was right in going to Iraq and Secretary of State Rice is one of the best in his Cabinet.
I'm sure our Iraqi strategy was well thought out and...
/Pheww. Used one whole day's worth of sarcasm in one post.

2007-01-18 12:01:16 PM
Of course they want peace! Everyone wants peace. There version of peace is just very different than ours. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

2007-01-18 12:02:40 PM
all except those damn people that have been fighting with eachother for 5000 years

I just love deconstructing that argument whenever I have the time and patience. I guess you all-enlightened white Europeans haven't been doing so as you've only had basic civilization for 4,000 years, versus those in the "Cradle of Civilization". Because that is the only way you're statement holds true. Although I think warfare has probably been around in one sense or another since we were communicating by grunts and were mesmerized by fire.

2007-01-18 12:03:24 PM
Skleenar

What's your solution?

I am calling for all out Religious War, to the victors goes the true God and everybody else must comply and convert. It is the only thing that makes sense to me.

2007-01-18 12:04:42 PM
"They just want peace as long as their opposing religious sect is wiped off the planet."

What's your solution?

Send in 21,000 more armed Americans. That'll fix it.

2007-01-18 12:05:37 PM
By the way parts of Europe have been civilized for a long time and I am halfway of European descent. Just trying to prove a point above.

2007-01-18 12:05:55 PM
skleenar What's your solution?

Well, now we know how GWB signs on to Fark

2007-01-18 12:06:00 PM
All mideast wants peace, but Iran is comprosing it? So let's attack Iran!

2007-01-18 12:06:26 PM
Yeah, it's all in the definition of "peace".

There are countries which define peace in the middle east as a Muslim state without the presence of Israel. That's peace.

If Israel didn't exist and it was just a Muslim country like Syria Jr. or something there would probably be peace over there. At least until the different factions of Islam decided they had to duke it out over who is more right with the prophet.

But for some unknown reasons those pesky Israelis just don't seem to want peace enough to stop existing...

Curse them!

/where is Tatsuma when we need him?

Sunny Ray

Or we could just wipe religion out all togeather and not have it to bicker about. Then atleast we could get on with hating one another over real proven issues like "you are different colored then me" and "you eat with chopsticks, I eat with a fork".

2007-01-18 12:06:40 PM
"Whole of Mideast wants peace."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Now that's funny. Almost fell off my chair laughing.

2007-01-18 12:07:33 PM
She likely believes this. She's an American. If reality TV teaches us anything, we are a nation that loves to believe its own bullshiat.

2007-01-18 12:07:43 PM
Jamrock: Although I think warfare has probably been around in one sense or another since we were communicating by grunts and were mesmerized by fire.

Shhh!

You're not helping the dehumanization!

Here: Have a big fat helping of Dolchstoß.

You see, the problem is that the Iraqis just don't want the gift we have so selflessly given them badly enough.

2007-01-18 12:07:43 PM
In other news, Israel and America not interested in peace, but poorly defined "victory."

2007-01-18 12:08:07 PM

I predict Atheists will win. Superior technology. Religious people always resist technological change, while Atheists tend to accept it readily.

2007-01-18 12:08:15 PM
didn't i see her in planet of the apes?

2007-01-18 12:08:53 PM
I read this ad in Soldier of Fortune.....

2007-01-18 12:10:12 PM
TechnoHead, those Code Pink a$$holes are the same ones who taunt wounded soldiers at a hospital in D.C. with such caring and deeply intelligent slogans as, "you were maimed for a lie". Don't feed the troll.

/the only attention I'd give them is a good hard shove in front of a Metro bus

2007-01-18 12:10:30 PM
JOEKC: Well, now we know how GWB signs on to Fark

That would only be true if I immediately went ahead and ignored all the suggestions.

***scans suggestions***

Hmm.... So much for disproving that theory.

2007-01-18 12:11:30 PM
xebeche_tzu, thanks for providing the example.

2007-01-18 12:12:37 PM
You're not helping the dehumanization!

Ever since Intro to Int'l Politics I have never looked at the world in the same way. Trust me all of these countries out there including the U.S. are doing the same thing in virtually the same way, some are better at propaganda, but they are all looking out for their interests.

2007-01-18 12:12:55 PM
If by peace, she means dead Jews, theft of their land, dead Americans, and forcible implementation of Islam worldwide, she's absolutely right.

Its too bad the administration has bungled things so badly they have boxed themselves into a corner where they make these type of assinine statements.

2007-01-18 12:14:12 PM
I may be an avid science fiction fan, but believing in the Black Ho (Condi), and the String Theory (GW), is beyond my realm. Stating I can fix it this way, and getting four corners of a circle to meet, will continue to be a loosing clusterthingy.
