(WCBStv.com)   Three teenage girls attacked another girl at an elementary school. And they would've gotten away with it too, if it weren't for that video of the beating they posted online   (wcbstv.com ) divider line

They've probably taken that video down by now.

I feel bad for the 13 year old girl that was beaten up. Not only did she get her ass kicked, but then it was broadcast all over the internet. Insult to injury.

What are teenage girls doing at an elementary school, are they that stupid?

2007-01-17 11:38:48 AM
This is exactly the kind of story Fark.com was built on.

The dumbass tag is beginning to fall short of fully describing retards like these three.

2007-01-17 11:38:48 AM
I saw this on local news yesterday. Not much to get all excited about.

eeesh, the girl who taped it and the one who committed the assault should be tied up and the victim given a baseball bat to exact revenge.

2007-01-17 11:39:19 AM
What gets me is that the parents of the beaten girl didn't want to press charges till the video started getting a lot of Internet play...

WTF? so it's somehow worse if a lot of people saw it?

I saw the video on the news the other night. The girl got her ass handed to her. I actually felt quite bad.

Elaine: What is so appealing to men about a cat fight?

Kramer: Yeah, yeah, cat fight!

Jerry: Because men think if women are grabbing and clawing at each other there's a chance they might somehow kiss.

What irks me about these cases, is that these kids somehow get protection from being named. You can be sure if this was an 18 year old girl, her full name, address, occupation, dogs name, parents marital history and TSG mugshots get thrown up everywhere, but because these 3 little brats 'arent old enough to be responsible', theyre protected.
Maybe someone needs to find this video and grab some screencaps of the 3 offenders, and distribute them across the net, maybe a photoshop comp in the works?

The beaten girl wasn't hospitalized. At first her parents didn't want to press charges, but after the video appeared on the Internet and has been getting a lot of play, they changed their minds.

MySpace?

I thought the dude on FoxNews was gonna rub one out he was so "horrified" by the video. Yeah, that's why they showed it about 50 times per hour and then brought on "experts" to discuss it.

This is assult. "The girl got her ass handed to her." Sounds like she was interested in fighting. It is not a sporting event when someone follows you (stalks) and starts beating up on you.
My kids have been told by the school officials not to hit back. If they defend themselves they are equally at fault for the fight. Sheesh!
I told my kids, get out of it if you can, get away from them if you can, but if you need to defend yourself and you're going to get in trouble anyway, make it count!

scuffer, TMK there is no law against naming underage people in articles like this, most papers just do it out of respect. It has kind of become an unwritten rule, but there is no law against it.

Means:

After they realized they could get publicity and fame for about 15 minutes because of their daughter getting beat down...they changed their minds.

Parent's just don't understand.

For those of you who want footage, komotv.com (pops) has parts of the actual video - it's the link titled: "Teen girls arrested in videotaped beating" on the front page, but it's not pleasant to watch.

2007-01-17 11:59:52 AM
I saw the video and it was pretty brutal. They were kicking the 12 year old IN THE HEAD after she was down on the ground. These punk biatches need to be charged and punished. The parents of the ones who did the beating also need to take some kind of responsibility, and express remorse or outrage that their little darlings could be so vicious. But, I'm not totally delusional; from the actions of the kids, it's a pretty safe bet the parental units are most likely not the best role models....

Andy Rips What race were they?

They were your race. Why don't you and your kind stop causing all the problems in this world.

/ why does it matter?

2007-01-17 12:07:46 PM
A dissent:

The parents' motivation to press charges may have come from:

1. The parents seeing just how brutal the attack really was; and/or

2. The video making it easier to prove who did what--instead of just an accusation without any hospital records or other documentation.

I doubt they wanted to seek publicity. It happened without the parents doing anything. Anyway, criminal charges do not equal "cashing in." There is no money involved in a prosecution.

I have the points to make in response to this clip:

1) That was an arse whipping.
2) That girl really should have fought back a little instead of just sitting there and taking it.
3) The anchor at komotv is Hot Hot Hot!

/just looked like an average everyday teenage fight...no arrests needed.

WTF dude? I though mercy was for the weak. Here, on the street, in the dojo. A (teenage girl) confronts you, she is the enemy. An eenmy deserves no mercy.

jingks: They were your race. Why don't you and your kind stop causing all the problems in this world.

I knew we shouldn't have wiped out the neanderthals. With only one human race left, who's left to blame for the depravities of human nature without implicating ourselves?

Because I'm interested to know if the kids who do this sort of thing are poor, uneducated, bored, or have been influenced by a culture of violence (ie, hip hop).

some legal Farkers may be able to weigh in on this...

can the parents of the ass-whooped sue the parents of the ass-whoopers for raising 3 little farking animals?

New Jersey sucks

Fat Tony: can the parents of the ass-whooped sue the parents of the ass-whoopers for raising 3 little farking animals?

[Thinks back to first-year torts 17 years ago] Probably not, unless the parents had some role in either encouraging/demanding that the girls take those actions or standing by and letting it happen instead of stopping it. Once they reach a certain age, children are deemed to have control over their own actions; particularly intentional acts (as opposed to negligence).

Which is why there is little room for the parents "cashing in." And really, how much "fame" can be gained here?

2007-01-17 12:21:14 PM
"They were your race. Why don't you and your kind stop causing all the problems in this world.

so we can see if it's another "hate crime shoved under the carpet" story if the victim was white and the other girls were black.
