Second time in 3 years that a car has crashed into their house and almost in the exact same spot? Crappy drivers aside, it sounds like they live at juuuust the wrong part of the road. Must be the outside of a sudden corner or something. I'd think about installing pylons.

/maybe some photon canons too

The Marshall County Sheriff's Department is investigating how much of a role alcohol played in this accident.

I'm gonna guess about three fifth's of it...

Good time to put in a decorative stone landscaping wall.

They should be mandatory for people living at the bottom of a hill in areas with snow.
Not that snow or hills were involved this time... but it almost seems like it should be common sense after the first car.

My cousins house got hit 3 times, they are on a blind turn, on a street that people like racing on, that has bars on one end, HOA say they can't put a pylon in to stop the 4th one... hooray for drunks and HOA

Take the HOA to court. I am sure that it is illegal for them to stop you from doing something that would otherwise place you in danger. Granted you may have to make an honest effort to put something up that looks better than metal poles.

Stupid HOAs

I've had 10 folks miss a major curve in front of my house now in 7 years. Most recently while I was out of town for thanksgiving '06. One of 'em even did it *three farking times* - he was more worried about what his parents were gonna do to him (for totalling a 3rd vehicle in my fence/woods/limestones) than what the county sherrifs would do if he fled the scene of a accident while DUI...

Pylons....come on where's your head at people? You need slanted sharp pikes planted in the ground. Say a 30ish degree angle from ground. Then get a video camera set up. You have Darwin and Faces of Death material right there.

/be a GREAT gag reel for hoildays

There is a house that sits near a dogleg curve here in town that has been hit three times. The second and third event was in Febuary and March of last year.
