I don't know, though. As much as this whole situation makes my stomach turn, I don't know that I agree with prosecuting the 14 year old. The reason there are laws of consent is because children don't have the reasoning ability or life experience to make that sort of decision. I can't imagine a 14 year old boy would have the capacity to turn down a girl giving out free blow jobs, especially when "everyone else is doing it, too."

What's sad is that I can remember back when I was 13 years old, I was in a community theater production of a popular play involving stories about girls. The girl who played the lead was 11. If you are under the age of consent, you are not capable under the law of making that decision. Ergo, sex under the age of consent has legal consequences for the other party.

Here's a true story for you:

Guy I knew in high school (I won't revel their names) was 16. His GF was 17.

All three of us were friends, and all three of us had French class together. She would come into class and brag about how good the sex was the previous night...and how freaky she was.

That's right..the GIRL would come in and brag about the sex...saying she loved to wake the guy up in the morning with a BJ, etc etc.

Girl's mom found out they were farking...pressed charges against the guy. A bunch of us were called into court to testify that the girl would brag in class about it.
