First off, I kept reading it as "Military Leader Frank Bananarama" and "Commodore Bananarama." Secondly, I read the daughter's name as "Azteca," and now I'm thoroughly confused. I've always wanted to go to Fiji, but it looks as though now is not the time.

Note to self: Do not fark with Commodore Bananarama. Archduke Kajagoogoo still fair game.

What a dick.

I only wish he had oil. And WMD's.

BFletch651: Australia will be invading to topple the brutal dictator and restore liberty, yes?

That all depends on if Bush tells them to.

I visited Fiji in late 1992. Would have had more fun if I knew some people there. I had the chance to "know" a few chicks but was too clueless, and scared of girls at the time, to do so.

Well played, submitter. Not easy to make me laugh before I've had my morning coffee, but you managed it.

/Really, it's not easy to get me to do much at all before my first cup of coffee.

Yay for subby! I laughed, it was fun!
Dr Banarama sounds mean. He sounds like the kind of guy who'd outlaw jellybeans. I'm frightened!

You would not have "known" them for free. Good thing you didn't anyway. It might have fallen off.

Check out the books by J. Maarten Troost. He has an interesting view of the islands of the South Pacific.

That's one way to nip any in-law problems in the bud, having your daughter-in-law's dad whacked at the wedding. I'm guessing things will be damned cordial at the next Christmas dinner with nobody talking trash. I liked Happy Isles of Oceania: Paddling the Pacific by Paul Theroux where he went to a lot of the islands and explored them by kayak. It's a very good read.

They weren't locals or whores. One was from Qubec and one from New Zealand.
