Kim keeps track of the number of karaoke machines sent out to each troop division by writing it down in a notebook, according to the Rodong Sinmun.

I love reading articles that use the NK press as a starting point. The mundane crap they always slip into their propaganda always makes me chuckle.

Gotta love it...I'm sure he personally notes every one of these that is sent out...although since it's probably only two machines, it's quite possible.

And he also noted that soldiers and officers competed with each other to get the highest scores, the newspaper reported.

Unfortunately, the morale boost for enlisted men is minimal, following the officers 8370-1 win ratio. Ironically, the only loss the officers suffered was the first round, since then it has been an 8370 win streak. The winner of the first round no longer participates as he seems to have misplaced his tongue.

He told a meeting of military commanders that "the atmosphere changed completely" among troops when they started to sing along to the tunes on the machine.

And he also noted that soldiers and officers competed with each other to get the highest scores, the newspaper reported.

And this will translate into military success HOW, again?

Because being an American troop stationed at the DMZ on the 38th parallel didn't suck quite enough...

Can you imagine them using it as some sort of propaganda weapon?? Singing the most current Madonna hits, like Papa Don't Preach and Lucky Star...

My prediction... suicide rates at DMZ sky rocket...

Instead of berating submitter for such a large number of headline errors, why not praise him for the words he did get right. For example, we could congratulate him on managing to spell "karaoke" correctly.

Good thing we can counter that with the American Idol brigade.

Kim keeps track of the number of karaoke machines sent out to each troop division by writing it down in a notebook, according to the Rodong Sinmun.

At first, I wondered "WTF is this in here for?" then I thought about it: It's a veiled warning to soldiers not to steal/damage the machines. If Dear Leader himself has a record of who has what, punishment will be swift to those who steal from The People.

In 3 simple steps:

3. Military success!
