You cannot have pit bulls and children at the same time. They respect adult owners to a degree, but if they have one second alone with a small child, they will attack.

A few years ago in Los Angeles, this woman turned her back for a moment and her pit bull grabbed the baby and literally tore the poor thing in half.

Later, the couple was infuriated that Animal Control came to get the dog to put it to sleep. I still remember the woman's words:

"We just lost out baby, now they want to kill our dog?"

I couldn't believe the stupidity. How much does the dog have to do before she lets it go? Does it have to kill more children, kill her husband?

There is no purpose for those dogs.

There is no way a ferret would do such a thing.

Unless, of course, the pit bull dared it to. Ferrets can't resist dares.

Does it really matter which animal it was? What matters is that a tiny baby was mutilated by one of their pets. At any rate, since ferret teeth differ from those of a puppy, couldn't tests be done to figure out which animal injured the baby?

The Humane Society in my state will not accept Pit Bulls. It's the only breed of dog they won't deal with due to their violent nature and when they confiscate dogs in cruelty cases, the Pit Bulls are often unable to be made into an animal that can serve as a suitable pet. The shelter has a no-kill policy on all animals. As a result, and knowing they can't get rid of these animals, they're the only breed they will not shelter.

Whoever says Pit Bulls are tame is a moron.

Sad thing is, this will make its way into a disney subliminal joke in a future cgi money factory.
