Hamas and Fatah fighting each other is all part of the master plan. One day they, along with the Shia and Suni will wake up and see how they are being played.

2006-12-19 09:32:07 AM
Think of it as more of a very large insane asylum. With weapons.

A better parallel would be Chicago in the 20's. Which gang will control the territory?

2006-12-19 09:33:42 AM
is all part of the master plan

*note to fellow trilaterals: eliminate this guy, he knows too much*

ChairmanKaga: the master plan

Whose plan?

they, along with the Shia and Suni

These are not discrete groups.

2006-12-19 09:34:36 AM
albo: trilaterals

I thought it was the Club of Rome?

2006-12-19 09:41:07 AM
I hope they just blow each other to smithereens and do the world a favor.

2006-12-19 09:54:13 AM
I'm sure there's a way the Jews can be blamed for this somehow... Mel?

albo: *note to fellow trilaterals: eliminate this guy, he knows too much*

Already noted.

Pelagius: I'm sure there's a way the Jews can be blamed for this

Well, if the Jews were gone, there would be much more to kill each other over. And weapons for self defense would be more easily available. And larger.

2006-12-19 10:06:57 AM
In all seriousness, I must say that this is the best thing I've heard in a while.

2006-12-19 10:19:03 AM
Dancin_In_Anson: the best thing I've heard in a while.

Except that the people really needed to build a country, the middle class, the professionals, are leaving.

Leaving the fundies to take themselves out of the gene pool...Like I said...best thing I've heard in a long time.

No, what I meant was... hmmm...

Yes, but remember when they tried shipping criminals off to an island the *last* time--Fosters and that guy who got stingray'd to death resulted.

What do you think *this* would cause?

2006-12-19 11:09:36 AM
You would think the right wingers would have a little more sympathy, afterall these are your counterparts over there, the asshats who take a hardline stance against everything.

A beer can you should hold away from your chest while opening?

Unless you're talking about how the religious and political elite in the region are playing each group, you seriously need to invest in tinfoil. I hear the mind beams are going into effect tonight.

Headso: You would think the right wingers would have a little more sympathy, afterall these are your counterparts over there, the asshats who take a hardline stance against everything.

Ooh, well played - random vitrol flinging. Let me go add "asshat" and "hardliner" to my profile. BRB.

Galloping Galoshes: A beer can you should hold away from your chest while opening?

But non-alcoholic, so it's not even worth getting in the first place.....

Thanks, I'll be here all week.

muninsfire: non-alcoholic,

There is no such thing as non-alcoholic beer. No wai. Uh-uh.

2006-12-19 11:26:23 AM
Excellent news

2006-12-19 11:32:22 AM
blinkin

I was thinking of a certain minority group that benefits from the distraction.

Tatsuma: Excellent news

That there is no such thing as non-alcoholic beer? I agree wholeheartedly.

Galloping Galoshes: That there is no such thing as non-alcoholic beer? I agree wholeheartedly.

I meant this hitting the front page, but Hamas and Fatah killing each others or the fact there's no such thing as a no-alcohol beer is awesome too

Having a good holiday so far?

Galloping Galoshes: There is no such thing as non-alcoholic beer. No wai. Uh-uh.

Well, there's non-alcoholic beer-like substitute beverage, in which category Foster's falls, if memory serves...

2006-12-19 11:35:28 AM
I, and the entire middle east, and prolly most of the world, need a beer.

Except the japanese, they can have saki, it's all good.

2006-12-19 11:36:01 AM
Tatsuma: Having a good holiday so far?

Oh, it *is* Chanukah now, isn't it?

That must be why my car won't start: it's an Orthodox car or something.

ChairmanKaga: I was thinking of a certain minority group that benefits from the distraction.

It's those damn Baha'i again, isn't it? They just won't leave well enough alone, I tell you.

Cosmic_Music: Except the japanese, they can have saki, it's all good.

Sake, and yes.

Is it made by the same folks that give us american cheese product?

You can drive on Hannuuukkkkaaahhhh. No restriction there. You also must ruin your cholesterol with greasy latkes and much sour cream. Now, go ruin.

Galloping Galoshes: Is it made by the same folks that give us american cheese product?

Non-dairy cheese-named abomination against the Lord, more like it...

You can drive on Hannuuukkkkaaahhhh. No restriction there.

I guess it still thinks that it's Shabbos or something, then.

You also must ruin your cholesterol with greasy latkes and much sour cream. Now, go ruin.

I'd like to, but I'm at work...no latkes here.

/Girlfriend gave me a ride.

2006-12-19 11:39:40 AM
Cosmic_Music: they can have saki, it's all good.

Served warm in very small cups, by beautiful women in heavily brocaded silk gowns.

2006-12-19 11:41:50 AM
muninsfire: I guess it still thinks that it's Shabbos or something, then.

Perhaps it lacks lubrication. I recommend rubbing all metal parts with the latkes. Then squeeze one into your crankcase to ensure sufficient oil levels.

Wha' hoppen to your horseless buggy? It go clicky-click this morning?

(FNORD) To even speak of such things makes True your status as a Non-Member and one also who should prepare themselves for the Here-After(/FNORD)

You drive a minivan?

Galloping Galoshes: It's those damn Baha'i again, isn't it? They just won't leave well enough alone, I tell you.

Hey, I never found any responsa or psak about this, but I assume that Baha'i are Bnei Noach, right?

2006-12-19 11:45:17 AM
Galloping Galoshes: These are not discrete groups.

I agree, these guys don't go in for the quiet poisoning, generally they're all RPGs and AKs to the skull of the dude they HATE this week.

Galloping Galoshes: Perhaps it lacks lubrication. I recommend rubbing all metal parts with the latkes. Then squeeze one into your crankcase to ensure sufficient oil levels.

And why would I waste good food like that? Didn't your mother raise you right? There are children starving in Ethiopia right now who'd like nothing more than one of those latkes, and you're going to go waste one. For shame.

Wha' hoppen to your horseless buggy? It go clicky-click this morning?

Nah, it turns over and everything, just won't, y'know, *start*. I'm leaving it hooked up to a battery charger for the day, but something (like how I left it hooked up all last night) tells me that that may not work.

/Old car, and it sucks.
//Can't afford to fix it, and can't afford a new one.
///Going to be bicycling to work for the forseeable future, I guess. *sigh*

2006-12-19 11:46:45 AM
Tatsuma: You drive a minivan?

'86 Cadillac Brougham. In Gold/dirt colour.

2006-12-19 11:47:23 AM
Tatsuma: psak

OK, now, I'm sure you made that one up.

2006-12-19 11:49:51 AM
Tatsuma: Baha'i are Bnei Noach

If Rashi and Rambam can't agree on either Christianity or Islam, who am I to say? But I believe that most would agree they are.

2006-12-19 11:51:22 AM
muninsfire: OK, now, I'm sure you made that one up.

Means 'to cut" Pasak - cut. Posek - a rabbi who can decide hallachic questions, or "cut" to the answer. Psak - decision.

You will be healthier, and contribute less to global warming. Unless you are on a high-fiber diet, of course.

Yah, if it turns over, more battery won't help much. Good luck. At least the girlfried has wheels that turn.

Squeezing oil from a latke is a public service. Believe me, there's an unending supply in a single latke.

I sure will be glad the day all your neighbors are shooting RPGs at each other in your hometown because some like chicken and others prefer turkey. You are a soulless bastard.

Ah, alrighty. More secret Jewish codewords, I guess....

You will be healthier, and contribute less to global warming. Unless you are on a high-fiber diet, of course.

However, I'll have to get up at 4am, not 5 like usual. And 5's bad enough.

Yah, if it turns over, more battery won't help much. Good luck. At least the girlfried has wheels that turn.

Well, I figured it might be a case of enough juice to turn it over but not enough to get it to catch--which has happened before.

I've got about three more tricks up my sleeve before I have to give it up, though, and look for a scrap dealer to see how much I can get for it.

That might be fun around here, actually. Certainly make it more amusing to sit up on the hills and watch the lights if there's explosions, too.

muninsfire: And they say there's no oil in Israel.

Sadly, latkes originated in Eastern Europe.

I've got about three more tricks up my sleeve

Nitrous in the air intake.
