Let's see here:
1: Didn't care, didn't watch.
2: Don't care about Mel Gibson
3: No idea who James Frey is
4: No idea WTF took them so long. I'm a MythTV kinda guy, and this episode has expired already, but it was a good one that I watched a few times.
5: Didn't see the CMA awards
6: Don't watch Oprah
7: Never watched Will and Grace
8: Never watched Lost
9: Find Rosie O'Donnell annoying as all crap.
10: Don't care for Connie Chung, don't watch Maury.

Wow, I only watched 10% of the (apparently) most popular TV moments. I suppose that means I missed out in some way

2006-12-16 07:34:55 PM
Note that if you read carefully, it's just a survey Tivo commissioned - it doesn't actually indicate what was most Tivoed, or replayed, or anything.

2006-12-16 07:36:17 PM
Something tells me not a whole lot of men participated in the survey

2006-12-16 08:00:45 PM
I feel dumber after reading that list.

2006-12-16 08:04:05 PM
People actually care about this garbage?

2006-12-16 08:38:14 PM
It's sad when people try and get their "top ten of the year" list before the year is over.

2006-12-17 01:15:21 AM
Uh, Zidane didn't get the top 10?

2006-12-17 01:16:01 AM
What's with the surge of "Top #" list lately?

How long before "Top 10 'Top 10' lists" is submitted?

2006-12-17 01:16:02 AM
I watched one (Sarah & Gil) on TV, watched a couple on youtube, and ignored the reat.

2006-12-17 01:17:27 AM
seriously no sports?

nothing funny?

no 24? heller drives his car off a farking cliff i mean come on thats quality tv

this list is teh suk

2006-12-17 01:19:40 AM
Lost is the only one worth seeing.

2006-12-17 01:19:41 AM
If I got this right, TIVO actually KNOWS which were the ten most TIVOed moments, but instead of simply doing the math decided to take a survey instead. Because people telling you what they did is much more accurate than watching what they did.

OMG dumb.

2006-12-17 01:19:58 AM
That's some worthless TV. I was curious about the Faith Hill thing, but not enough to Tivo Inside Edition, or whatever crap show replays that sort of thing.

My all-time favorite Tivo'd thing was Lindsey Lohan on the original Debbie Downer (the Disney World restaurant). That thing stayed funny for a long time.

2006-12-17 01:21:28 AM
they got together? dang. i guess since i started studying the actual stuff, i stopped watching the series all together.

/hate the drama, love the science

TiVo Survey Reveals Top 10 Most Forgettable TV Moments of 2006 According to dinkbreath

2006-12-17 01:23:06 AM
On that list, the only one that I saw was the 'Will and Grace' finale (rather enjoyed it mostly)

As for the rest of the list, they would not have been Tivoed if housewives didn't have day jobs.

/yeah, I went there
//but I don't know of any men who watch 'Oprah'.

2006-12-17 01:23:13 AM
i have two things to say about this. i didnt watch ANY of this crap, and i dont own a Tivo or any of the other Tiveo-esque things out there.

2006-12-17 01:27:17 AM
Great Janitor:
if housewives didn't have day jobs

/AWWWMAN that was classic!!!

2006-12-17 01:27:19 AM
Cypher19: Uh, Zidane didn't get the top 10?

hell, how about the whole farking world cup???

its only the worlds most popular sporting event.

/didnt see any of those "top 10"

2006-12-17 01:27:23 AM
List should be:
1.) Girl takes soccerball to the face on MXC

Fin

2006-12-17 01:30:56 AM

/Never watch network TV...

All I wanna know is this: When can I get a Wii controller for my Ti-Vo?

2006-12-17 01:31:54 AM
This is just Tivo PR, nothing more. They probably just made that shiat up.

2006-12-17 01:32:55 AM

2006-12-17 01:37:23 AM
Thank FSM!

I have seen none of these.

2006-12-17 01:37:54 AM
I tried to guess what would be the top ten before looking. Somehow, I came up with the Faith Hill moment, mostly because it was a really short snippet that it seems people would TiVo.

I also thought, Vince Young's TD run at the end of the Texas-USC game. Why not.

Then I drew a blank on anything else that had happened all year.

Yeah, the Zidane thing should have been on there, I probably saw that replayed on TV 10000000x.

2006-12-17 01:37:59 AM
HAHA, I didn't watch any of that. I don't use TiVo either, so meh.

2006-12-17 01:38:23 AM
Yay, TiVo.

2006-12-17 01:38:52 AM
I hate the "survey" idea. wtf? who TiVos moments on daytime tv? to play over and over?

they just didn't want the list to be dominated by accidental T&A and sports replays, which is what their real data probably indicated.

2006-12-17 01:39:00 AM
I don't own a Tivo. Does that make me uncool?

/hasn't recorded tv in years

This Is Bold Text: Most Oh-my-god-I-wish-i-had-Tivoed moment:
The BSG atmosphere jump.

I'd vote for that. The Tivo list is crap.

2006-12-17 01:58:06 AM
I saw none of these. But, after carefully reading the list, I still don't want to see any of them.

2006-12-17 02:06:10 AM
Iriri: People actually care about this garbage?

People don't care about this garbage, or else they would watch it live. They have the machine grab it just in case something weird happens like, oh, Kirstie Alley's overloaded bikini rupturing.

2006-12-17 02:10:14 AM
I love my Tivo.
