I gotta agree with the comments about how people who look really off-spec wind up not reproducing.

However, I don't blame those two for what they did. US adoption is a farce. (I can imagine it is just as stoopid in the UK.) If you have a pile of money, you can buy a baby off some cracker for 50K and never hear from her again. Anyone else gets pot luck and they still get a crazed 16 year old birthmother showing up 5 1/2 months later demanding her kid back and getting the kid back.

Good on them, even if they do look like mushrooms with hair.

That being said, this is an odd story and I'm just wondering why you would go through so much trouble to find and paid for a random person's sperm when you could easily just get someone to have sex with you for free?
